with the gm of the browns saying he is open to trading both 1st's away to move up for MM.

What would a trade need to look like for them to move to 3 with us?

Mind you I prefer moving to 6 and picking up a 2nd or 3rd for the move, moving to 6 leaves us Beasley, Fowler or Cooper assuming its JW, LW then MM.

I would  be ok with that deal. Get two first round picks. Get the next best defensive player plus an RB. Good deal.

It would take more than 12 & 19 for me to trade out of the 3 spot.  If they added a 3rd rounder this year or 2016 2nd rounder, that would be enough for me to pull the trigger.  Take a look at Cleveland's schedule.  It has 3-13 written all over it so a 2 in 2016 could be the 34th or 35th pick overall.

I'd personally take 12/19 and their 2nd rounder (43) but I know most would say the 2 first a 3rd and next year's 1st.

And go something like:

12: Gregory/Beasley

19: Waynes/Collins/Peters

36: Ajayi/Gurley/Gordon

43: Randall//Rowe  or Dorsett//Strong//Fisher

Get your Leo//shut down CB//RB  then FS or WR or Tackle that can go LT or RT.

Its a pretty risky two picks of Gregory//Peters but man do they have the talent....

They'd have to give up their two first rounders this year, and at least a second either this year or next.  I'd also leverage them to trade a player like Mack in the deal.

There were reports that the Browns and tacks have discussed trade parameters. The tacks asked for the 12 and 19 picks plus a 2nd and the Browns balked at the 2nd round pick. If they were willing to include Tashaun Gipson instead of the extra second I would take it. If they balk at that maybe an extra 3rd or 4th rounder would be considered. That would at least give us more ammunition if we decide to move up for a player in the draft.

^^ This! I've been praising this move from the get-go and hope it falls through. We could fix our FS issue, while still getting a RB and DE with the 12/19 picks. And maybe have them throw in 4th Rd as well. This would be awesome!

GO JAGS!!
The only thing I'm worried about now is that the trade may hit before us. With the Winston junk going down, he may fall down with Tampa and Tennessee could take him. If Tampa still takes him, I'm not sure Tennessee would take Mariota. Hopefully Tennessee wants too much and takes Williams. We'll see though.

GO JAGS!!
Yep, this should be in the Titans team forums.

For pick 3, I think the Brown's picks 12, 19, and a 4th round pick is fair.  However, I don't think they are going to give up more than just 12 and 19.  And, I would probably take it.

Pick 3: Williams, Mariota, Fowler, or Cooper for...

Pick 12: Shelton, Gregory, or Parker, and

Pick 19: Strong, Peat, Collins, or Gurley.

Translated....Would I give up Fowler, and take Gregory and Gurley? ...in a flash.  I don't think the top 5 non-QB guys in this draft are 'supremely elite'.

Since we're throwing things at the wall just for the heck of it:

3 way trade

Jags receive #6 and #12

Jets receive #3

Browns receive Geno Smith and Jets 2016 1st

Jags get 2 good draft picks.  Jets give up a future 1st to land Mariota.  Browns receive Geno Smith and push their #12 to next year.  Browns might need more in this scenario.

That's interesting. But I doubt Cleveland would even consider it because of Geno Smith. I don't think Cleveland hold him with that value even though they move to 6. But it's definitely interesting.

definitely has potential. im starting to hope the titans just take leonard williams and we get the trade deal.
Pick 12- Vic Beasley

Pick 19- Melvin Gordon

At least we aren't the Browns.

I'd take their 2nd and 3rd rounders this year plus their 1st and 4th next year plus their pick at 19 overall this year.  They keep their 12th overall pick to give Mariota a WR target or a DT or whatever they want.

Not liking the first round outside of 10.

Browns 2 first this year, their 3rd this year, plus next years 1st and 3rd.
3 first rounders PLUS anything, much less 2 3rd round picks, is not realistic.

I don't like outside of the top 8 or so.  Which got me thinking, why be at 12 when 19 isn't that much worse.  Give me the extra picks instead.

12- Gurley

19- Dorsett

36- Jay Ajayi

Go Offense!!!
