Jay Ajayi out of Boise st is the most versatile RB in the draft who can run and catch, he also has a nose for the endzone 32 tds this year 19 last year, 50 catches is insane for a college RB. He says the jaguars is one of the teams showing the most interest in him
He's also a former soccer player, he says he could have choose soccer and been a pro at that but choose football, our owner owns a soccer team so he would also be a good cross promotion guy.

He probably would get the most interview requests for the Jaguars London games.
My gut feeling is the Jaguars would like to get a RB sometime in the first two days of the draft. But it's harder to predict whether the Jags would use their 2nd Round draft resource on a RB, compared to their 3rd Round draft resource. So much is going to come down to how the draft is going.
The J train coming to town! I wouldn't mind this at all.
Gurley
Coleman
Ajayi
Would be my top 3
Duke Johnson
Abdullah
David Johnson
Cobb
Would be my next tier.
I don't want any part of Melvin Gordon.

Yup he was born in England too

If everything else was equal, Jay Ajayi would be a great addition for the Jaguars from the standpoint of marketing the team in England. Both in terms of exposure and selling team merchandise.
Ajayi is in my 2nd tier of RB along with Abdullah and Gordon...but I still wouldn't be too happy with any of them at 36. I would almost guarantee someone I like more will be on the board over any non Gurley RB.

Why not?

I would flip Abdullah and Coleman, otherwise I like that list (I assume you have Gurley comfortably as #1 RB). I agree I don't like Gordon either, but I am relenting because so many people that I respect like him.

My assumption would be that he attributes all of Gordon's success to Wisconsin's offensive line.

I can answer why I don't particularly like him. He didn't show great vision/decisiveness, he fumbled A LOT, I worry about his durability, he did very little in the passing game, and he showed almost nothing in the blocking game.
If ajayi lasts until rd 3, he's a no brainer. I wouldn't be totally upset with him somewhere in rd 2.
He's really well rounded and could be a versatile workhorse
Ajayi would add to the style of the team. I imagine this offense can get pretttyyy sick pretty quick, with good oline play.
I think he'll be there in the third round, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's the pick in round three, though I wouldn't be too stoked about it. I think we've got more pressing needs along the lines, at linebacker and at safety. We've got a solid running back in Denard Robinson. Short of Gurley falling to the second round, we need too much help elsewhere to spend a high pick on a position that's, all things considered, in decent shape.
I think Ajayi looks like an exciting RB and I'd be happy if we picked him in round two, because I don't think he will be there in round three, given the interest he is getting.
But, I don't think we should pick him for his PR value. And I don't believe we'll do that.
I like Ajayi, he's probably my number 2 after Gurley, not sure about at 36, maybe a trade back into the second like we did for ARob. Wouldn't say I'd be mad if we grabbed him at 36 though
I had him in my mock draft I think i had him in round 3.
I like Ajayi alot. I tend to think there will be a run at backs in the second round. It would not surprise me to see this team select a running back in that round.
I think he's completely worth our 2nd round pick. If it wasn't for Gurley, he'd be in the mix for the best RB in this draft IMO.

This. There's no way he lasts close to the 3rd round. We'd either have to draft him with our second or trade back into the second round like last year
I would rather Cobb in the 4th than Ajayi in the 2nd
