Yeah what's the dealio

Would anyone be interested in me running the Consensus mock draft again this year?  Last year's seems to have disappeared.  But basically it's a first to 3 votes (can't vote more than once an hour) to determine picks for the first 3 rounds.

I'm all for it if we can get it together relatively quickly.

30 hours and counting for NYC4jags. 2nd time he's done this during the last 10 picks. Ugh.

I have no idea when this draft even started. I was not notified.  Think on that for a second.

 

 I have a life beyond checking in on a mock draft daily.  I would have done my part had someone told me it had begun.  I'm only just know realizing that I'm expected to pick for Philly instead of Houston.

The only reason you're picking for Philly is because you missed your earlier pick and someone was gracious enough to swap with you.

 

Anyway, glad we can get this thing moving again.

To be fair each person should receive a PM/email by the person previous. It just makes things smoother. Not sure if anyone did that or not.

Jeez, guy.  This thing was in a holding pattern for weeks and then it finally started and no one notified me.   How can you not understand that??   

 

When I did get a message from the poster who made my pick I was in the mountains of northern New Mexico.  Not a great place to participate in anything requiring a mobile device.

When 31 people and others who are following the MB Mock Draft are depending on me,  I feel it's important to communicate.

I also mentioned this as an option earlier in the thread.   By all means,  go ahead and put that together.   There's no reason why we can't continue the current MB Mock Draft and have the format you mentioned as a separate Mock Draft.

 

The benefit to the method you mentioned is we don't have to wait for any specific person when a team is on the clock.

Regarding the current Mock Draft,   there was an inadvertent mistake.   The Eagles previously picked S Landon Collins.   The Lions are still on the clock with pick # 23.

picks are in jaguars mock draft thread. Hasn't been updated in a while :\

If someone else wants to make the Lions pick,  by all means go ahead.

 

If the choice was mine (  if you want me to make the pick for the MB Mock Draft ) and trading down isn't an option,  I would go with Miami T Ereck Flowers.  There's other Offensive Lineman potentially in mix with this pick and both DT Eddie Goldman and CB Jalen Collins are tempting.  But Flowers has the type of size, including arm length,  and strength that would fit well with the emphasis of size and power up front.   At worst Flowers should be a long term solution at RT.   With the realistic upside possibility of Flowers eventually taking over at LT,  with Riley Reiff moving to RT or LG.   My realistic ideal choice is Texas DT Malcom Brown but he was taken by the Bengals with pick # 21 in the MB Mock Draft.  

One pick away lol. Very frustrating...
