He visited <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Patriots?src=hash'>#Patriots</a> on Monday.

That's really good news.

Surprised he wasn't picked up yet.

He had shoulder surgery which should explain his slow market.
would be a great addition.  Competition for Bowanko would be great.

I hope this works out for both parties.

The Pats have Stork who played pretty good last year. He would most likely play guard if he signs there (and has experience at LG). If he signs here would he play guard to push Beadles or center?
Versatile guy.  Young.  Would be the kind of get that helps this team.  Not sure why Oakland is letting him walk other than, well, they're Oakland.

Would love this signing. Bowanko would make a great swing interior lineman.
Raiders fans seem to think he works better as a guard.

I'm thinking that would be the idea in signing him as well. Let him and Beadles battle it out in camp.
We have very little quality depth on the line. The only guy who I'd want around who isn't a starter is Pasztor based off what I saw from the other guys.

He's young enough where I think he could him a potential long term center should he beat out Bowanko. Also as Ryan O. said on twitter, he was Greg Olson's center the past two seasons in Oakland.
I really like this one. I hope we sign him. Will probably beat out Bowanko at C.
He is better than Bownako in terms of helping the QB out. He played very well in Oakland with Carr and I bet Olsen has something to do with his visit.

Good competition/depth for Bowanko and Beadles.

Please get him signed, Caldwell and Co.

Lock him in a room with Gus!

Just for reference PFT rated Wisiewski as the 42nd best free agent and NFL.com rated him the 32nd.

2 straight years now that Wiz has been among the best run blocking and worst pass blocking centers in the league. I legit don't know if he would be an upgrade on Bowanko. The reason he has taken so long to sign, at least what has been said, is that he is waiting for a team to guarantee him a starting job. Maybe he has relented from that stance since the interest has been so lukewarm, however.

I like the deal if it's a depth/competition signing, but if there is some guarantee that he will start I would pass.

Guaranteed starter?  You can be told anything, but this isn't part of the contract.
Been touting this guy all off-season
