If we're being honest with ourselves, we already know what we got. A non-natural passer, who has a windup, and the football comes off his hand different everytime he throws the ball.
A strong running game game with Fournette will mask him this season. But Blake Bortles is not going to bring this city a Super Bowl.
This pretty much says it all. I hope that things will turn around big time for Bortles this season and that he will lead this team to a .500 plus season. Regrettably though, I doubt it. By this point you pretty much know what your quarterback is; and what Blake has proven to be is, at best, inconsistent, and at worst, a
really bad draft selection by Dave Caldwell. If Bortles struggles again this season, he and Dave Caldwell should be history here.

simple. Firing him is a negative reflection on the GM. That's why if Bortles doesn't look good this season then he and Dave Caldwell should both be history here. Dave selected Gus... and Dave selected Bortles... the two most key positions on the team and so far it appears that he has struck out
badly on both of them.
