Quote:Unless the roster's horrible. *cough*So - maybe he made the list in 2012, but not now.
Roster got better and he didn't exactly have a stellar 2014 season.

1. Telvin Smith (yes, I mean it. That dude is gonna be a star.)
2. Sen'Derrick Marks
3. Paul Posluszny
4. Julius Thomas
5. Demetrius McCray (very underrated, gets a lot of undue criticism that should be going to Dwayne Gratz)
6. Jonathan Cyprien (same as above, that criticism is on Josh Evans)
7. Allen Robinson
8. Chris Clemons (wanted Andre Branch on this list but Clemons just has too many pass rushing moves and is too good at forcing fumbles, he hasn't gotten any slower even at 33 years old either)
9. Aaron Colvin (I only have him this low because of small sample size. We'll see if he can keep up his streak of lights out play across a full season)
10. Blake Bortles (has the potential to be #1 for sure but he's a ways from it)
Edit: you know, Brandon Linder needs to be on this list. He had such a clean season. He read stunts and loops, he executed combo blocks, he sprung a lot of long Denard runs, he anchored against stronger guys... I saw very few mistakes. Put him between McCray and Julius.

Rivers is 10+ years older than Blake. He better be better than him.

I mean, why the lack of Justin Blackmon?
This guy could come back tomorrow and still be the best receiver on the team. :\
Also, Bortles does not belong in the top 10. He hasn't proven anything.
Technically I don't think Thomas belongs there either because I mean between Denver's defensive scheme and Peyton Manning, he is not going to put up the same numbers here. He might have a good year, but anything like last couple years is just by far unrealistic to expect.

Quote:Considering what he was thrown into, which was basically full of rookies, I take that tremendously in account. It's hard enough for a college QB adjusting to the NFL and Blake did it behind a developing o-line with a ton of guys learning the system with him.Considering he was the worst starting quarterback in the league he isn't a top 10 player on this team.

Quote:I put him at #10 on my list but I was leaning towards Aaron Colvin as my gut feeling is he's going to really shine this year if given the opportunity (preseason)...What?!!? Cyprien isn't a big hitter and he sucked last year. He has no presence or even is a game plan for other teams. Talk about homerism.
Cyprien is a BIG HITTER and his presence or lack thereof is felt by the opponets.
