well at least Packer fans wanted to keep him. that says something
Wonder if someone is getting converted to FS, Gratz possibly?

Gratz is not a zone-type of guy.
Cha-ching baby.. Pay da man!!
we can keep it real though... it's overpayment.
House, McCray, and Colvin are going to be a fearsome trio.

When its that type of talent, who cares..
Whats so great about this guy?

he is the exact type of guy Dave likes to target in FA. hasn't played a whole lot and has potential.

Which begs the question...
McCray is the fan favorite, Colvin is the best CB on the team, and House is being paid to start.
Colvin, House on two corner sets? Or, is it McCray, House on first down, with Colvin replacing McCray on second and third?
With Colvin's talent and House's size, they've got to be the outside corners even in nickel.
According to the team and prior to picking up House, they didn't plan on trying to move any CBs to FS. But, that sentiment could change now.
Many options. The safety crop is weak, but there are a couple CB prospects I could see us targeting in the draft to play FS. So, CB could get even crazier when the draft comes.
Once a weakness, appears to have become a strength.

he played well when he played. he was primarily a backup though.

His biggest strengths are playing man and press which fits exactly with the Gus/Seattle mold.

don't we play mostly cover 3 zone? if we wanted man/press corner then we should look at Revis.
CB - HOUSE
CB- McCray
Nickel - Colvin
FS - Gratz

I'm guessing House and McCray are in two corner sets for now with Colvin in the Nickel. Not sure on the rotation though. Either way, good luck picking on any of those guys. We just need a decent FS to shore things up.
