Quote:No he didn't. Dallas averaged 30 yards less per game, not to mention QB hurries were up.

Is it Guy Whimper, Tony Pashos or a revolving door? No? Then its an upgrade. Even Cam Bradfield couldn't sustain after one serviceable season. Need someone to step up and own that spot.

Quote:Yes....Jarvis Jenkins and Keenan Robinson are unknown players. You can't even tell who the seahawks player is that gets mauled. Clearly based on three clips you can forecast the rest of his career.
Badger is butt hurt. Big surprise.

we paid an unproven player a lot of money. it is what it is. not upset at all.
FYI the term "butt hurt" was only used by teenagers about 10 years ago.

Actually, it's still used in the Marine Corps on a daily basis.

so are steroids, that doesn't mean its all good

No....pretty sure I don't use steroids on a daily basis. Nor do any of my co workers. But thanks for making a mindless assumption to finally prove how juvenile you really are.

I think the Jags overpaid the guy. Just because he played behind one of the top offensive lines in the league doesn't mean that he's a great player. Yes, I know I'll get some heat for this, but I'm just throwing it out there.

you already made the generalization that all marines use the term "butt hurt" on a daily basis. so just because you use the term and are a marine, therefore all marines also use the term? seems like an assumption to me unless you've met every marine on the planet.
guys like Tim Kennedy and Brian Stann have said that steroids are readily available in the military. it's not breaking news or some unknown thing.

That's an athletic powerful man with loads of upside, even at age 28/29.

Not surprised, a big man that moves like that should excel in a ZBS, his strength is an added bonus.

Quote:Where the hell do you figure Parnell is a big softie? LOL.There is a difference in strong and being tough with a nasty disposition. I know as little as anyone else here, just going off what I read and his career so far, but he doesn't seem a tough guy. He loves pottery and painting, not that there is anything wrong with that, and I am sure there are good players that also like to build teddy bears, but it's not the type hobbies normally associated with a tough guy. Additionally, if he was so tough and motivated he wouldn't be 28 years old and have 6 starts, it's not like he has been injured, he couldn't even beat out a mediocre Free. He brings depth and can play multiple spots, so I think he might be a backup here.
All that's been stated about him is how great of an athlete he is, played college b-ball, and how much toughness he brings. Go look at the vine of him picking up a DT off his feet and running him back. The guys definitely not soft...lol.
That is a lot of cash for a potential backup tackle, I know we have to spend some dough but that deal is pretty big for a nobody who has done nothing.
But we will see.

I'm sure Marrone signed off on the guy as well.

I feel like if Caldwell gets canned in the next few years, a lot of people will point to this signing as one of the reasons why he failed...
