I have no idea.

College forum for this, Jordan.
I haven't settled on one yet, but there are at least four that are intriguing as early picks.
I'm starting to think somebody gives us picks to go after Mariota and we end up picking one of the less obvious choices.

Randy Gregory.

The best all around is Fowler. He has a variety of moves to go along with his speed. I wouldn't touch Gregory due to his long injury history. Beasley is freakishingly fast but is purely a speed rusher. A one trick pony so to speak. The inside move he used in college won't work in NFL tackles.

Fowler

Gregory is likely going to be the best pass rusher, in my opinion. But, I don't think he's a good fit with his injury history and his likely inability to present much value in the run game. The combination of best rusher and best fit is likely Fowler.

Pound for pound, stat for stat he is what Bruce Irvin was as a prospect- but marginally more explosive.

I already said who I want multiple times in the college forum, as did many other posters. You should always check threads there for topics like this one.

Correct.

Instant impact, probably Fowler. Long term best pass rusher I think is Gregory, Dupree, Beasley, then Fowler in order.
Fixing to watch Preston Smith. I know he has elite measurables and is adored by some draftniks I respect greatly, so he might fit in that top 5 too.

Beasley has better and more moves than Fowler, who is actually the pure speed rusher. He's not as polished as Beasley, partly because he kept getting moved around. Honestly I really don't see what people see in Fowler and I think he won't be anything special in the NFL.

I think it depends on the position. From a pure athletic standpoint I feel that Shane Ray is the best in the draft making him an ideal fit for the LEO position. As a straight up, traditional 4-3 RDE, I feel that Randy Gregory is the best in the draft. As a rush backer, or OTTO, I feel that Fowler and Beasley are neck-in-neck as the best.

What we need the most is an Otto, so that means Fowler or Beasley would be the best value pick at #3 even if they are not the best pass rushers overall.

I've watched multiple game tapes on all these guys and right now Shane Ray is the best pass rusher, I do think with time in the weight room and coaching Gregory has the highest ceiling. But based on the tape Ray and Gregory are significantly better than Fowler or Beasley at this point. That said Fowler offers other great characteristics other than just being a pure pass rusher.

If you told me I had to pick one guy to make a sack right now, it'd be Ray. He has the athleticism matched with the desire. Thats a tough combination to stop.
Long term Gregory probably has the most potential. Fowler may be the safest in the sense that if he doesnt turn into a great pass rusher at the NFL level, he could potentially do other things really well.
