Quote:When you say Collins, are you talking about La'el, Jalen or Landon?

Phil ?
1. Leonard Williams

2. Vic Beasley

3. Amari Cooper

4. Dante Fowler Jr.

5. Bud Dupree

Quote:M. Williams??? <--are you thinking about our round two pick?

Why do you care?
Williams - Best guy in this draft in my opinion

Beasley - He has the production and the expertise at the position. I feel like he's as "plug and play" as a player could get for this Defense.

Fowler - May have better talent than Beasley, but he needs to focus on one position. Is going to be a monster player if he figures it all out.

Ray - The only bad thing about him is his size. I just wish he was bigger.

Gregory - Weight baby, weight. Needs to pack some on but will he be the same player when he does?

Quote:Lol in no way does me saying this insinuate me calling anyone a name

Just give up pal

Never said you called anybody one outright, you just insinuated it by piggybacking onto Frailbones' post.
Gregory didnt run at his Nebraska pro day, after all his talk about how he would run faster then his combine numbers, I wouldnt pick him at 3, his weight loss and gain stuff isnt carrying well.

Ray and Beasley are the same size, Ray has longer arms

I know, but Ray seems like his game is more suited for a down lineman to me. Whereas Vic gives off a "linebacker" type of game.
Some of these involve a trade down, and this is not the order I think they will come off the board, just the order I personally prefer for the Jags to draft.

1. DL Leonard Williams (would make the D-line and back seven better, Marks status up in the air now)

2. DE/OLB Dante Fowler JR (Versatile, pro-ready pass rusher we need at LEO for years to come)

3. RB Todd Gurley (he would be the true stud RB and star this team needs)

4. WR Amari Cooper (best WR in the draft, and our potential true #1 in the near future)

5. OT Brandon Schreff (would be the nasty, technically-sound RT we need to complete the O-line)

1. Leonard Williams

2. Randy Gregory

3. Dante Fowler Jr.

4. Vic Beasley

5. Kevin White

Quote:Same with the people who have Cooper over White

Obviously haven't watched the film

Actually the combine is what made a lot of people think Kevin White is much better than Amari Cooper. Film made people think Cooper is better than White . . . until February 20.

* If we sign a Vet in FA move 3-5 up

Man I really like both WR's but given how WVU receivers have fared in the NFL, I think Cooper is the safer bet.  I think they both can become long-term starters in the league though.  Maybe even pro-bowlers but there are so many great WR's in the league today.

You could say the same about Alabama players...

Besides Tavon (who isn't even used correctly) what other WVU wrs haven't fared well in the league?
Take Beasley off for me just watched a lil bit and all those combine numbers never show up on the field dosent give much effort either mark him in the bust category with Gregory and ray

Look again. Beasley is very explosive off the ball; most his sacks and pressures were pure speed rushes. I cant say i agree with low motor either.

Jerry Porter....well I might be biased about that. Stedman Bailey....the jury is still out.

Not that Bama has had a significant amount of success outside of Julio Jones either.

To the original poster, its pretty silly to compare schools. Are we to assume the two guys coming out of GT are the next Demaryius Thomas or Calvin Johnson? No. Theres a profile of receiver GT/Bama/WVU likes, but the talent varies from individual to individual.
