<p style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Filed to ESPN: Bills have notified LB Kiko Alonso he is going to be traded to Philadelphia for RB LeSean McCoy. Trade official next week.

<p style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Just realized I misspelled both of their names...
Wow. There are almost never player for player trades in the NFL, let alone for players of this caliber.
In my opinion, unless Kiko Alonso can't get back to form from his ACL tear, Philadelphia pretty easily won this trade.
It looks like that might not be moving up in the draft, I would have done that all day. Eagles won in my opinion in player for player trade. Why would Rex want to get rid of Kiko Alonso anyway?

Maybe no team at the top of the draft expressed interest in trading for McCoy but Buffalo gave them a call when they heard about Philly touting him.
I wouldn't rule out them trading up, Chip obviously loves his Oregon players.

I'm curious as to why Chip Kelly doesn't want to ride McCoy until the wheels fall off. He seemed to be a perfect fit in that offense.
May not have happened yet?

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">I just spoke with the Eagles organization and there is no trade for LeSean at this time. There have been discussions but nothing finalized

Well it can't be official until March 10th.
I'm sorry if I'm ignorant on this. But is Kiko Alonso THAT good?
Only one good year. In terms of tackles and INTs anyway.

He was defensive rookie of the year in 2013 and then missed his second season due to injury.
This is insane.
Last trade like this was Champ Bailey for Clinton Portis.

Just read about that. Thanks for the info.
Chip Kelly must REALLY think Shady is done. Crazy.
I actually hope that Buffalo wins this trade. They've suffered so much as a franchise. Much more than us Jags fans anyway.
Chip Kelly would trade for his guy, but I wouldnt trade for a guy who played one year and coming of a ACL, Eagles must gonna draft a RB because Sproles isnt a feature back
Freddy T don't like it.
"@FredTaylorMade: The Eagles did what!? And for who?? Oh, someone who didn't play a snap last year. @CutonDime25 would look nice in teal #Jaguars"
So Buffalo traded two firsts for a WR, now trades a good young all around LB for a RB?
Alrighty then
A year ago at this time, the consensus opinion was LeSean McCoy was the best all around RB in the NFL. McCoy won't turn 27 until this summer. Even with the Kiko Alonso Oregon connection and his impressive rookie season, I was surprised to see the news of the likely trade. If this doesn't illustrate how much RB's have been devalued in the NFL, I don't know what does.
