Don't think they had a choice. ASun Is down there with the SWAC and MEAC in terms of strength. There is a reason everybody is leaving and nobody wants to join. NJIT was the only independent left, so they probably didn't have a choice.

And it won't surprise me if the A-Sun is just a pitstop for NJIT on it's way to a larger conference.
