LOL.  I don't really hate you, but I am open and honest about what I think and how I feel.  It does tend to trigger the children though.

No big deal.  I've "known" Minorcan for quite some time.  I would think that she would interpret my messages correctly.  If not, oh well.  Let me count the days hours minutes seconds that I'll lose sleep over it.

Which results in them triggering me. The vicious cycle will never end until every kid gets banned.

 

Of course everybody will deny he/she is required to act like an adult when communicating with a woman who just turned 40. 

 

But I was thinking of the first statement. Why can't everyone be open and honest about things and, if they like me, say so?

You and I have differing political points of view and are very different from one another, yet we get along.  Others, not so much.  It's the nature of humans and society in today's world.  In general, people must "conform" with pop culture or risk being thought of as an outcast.

 

Understanding, patience and respect don't really matter in today's culture.  It often confuses me when I see on this very message board how some people treat one particular poster with a "mental disorder" differently than another with a "mental disorder".

 

Much of the problem could be the age and/or immaturity of some members.  The other problem is just the plain ignorance of some people. Until we as a group work though that, it will always be the same.

We're all completely honest with you, we dont like your trollish ways. I'm not required to do a damn thing, I'm a grown man and older than you, I'll act however I want.

It is a good thing politics did not bring us together, but I respect your different views on the issues.

 

The bold statement is totally wrong. So-called "normal" people just want to think understanding, patience, and respect don't matter because they only care about themselves and people who are like them. As long as I live on Earth I will insist there should be no differences in social behavior based on how a conversation takes place - email, message board, chat room, etc.

 

If age is the problem, everyone who picks on me needs to be banned because it means they are younger than 13.
