Meanwhile everyone will try to rationalize this by putting all his success on his surrounding pieces because theyre unable to evaluate how good he actually is in his own right.

First off, that's from Pat Yasinskas, not Charlie Campbell. Second, he's just quoting what Gus had to say about working with Dak at the Senior Bowl and saying he wouldn't be surprised if the Jaguars took him because of that. There's nothing about inside information or anything like that in there.

Charlie just said yesterday that Wade Phillips caused divide in the locker room only for a denver player to tell ben albright that he was straight up lying lol

The jaguars thought Dak was very good before the draft last year.

I think what's being said is that Dallas liked Prescott and tried to get information about where other teams had Prescott on their draft boards. They found out was that Jacksonville was their main competition for Dak's services and they needed to take him in the fourth round to ensure they would get him.
Does this mean we're all supposed to sit in a circle and cry? Rent a time machine? What??

Batting one hundred? Sounds like Gene Smith at the draft. Oh wait, he was probably worse than that. Maybe Meatloaf can change his song to one out ten ain't bad.

Oh OK. I didn't get the relevance. I was like ....I'd the jags had him the highest, why didn't we take him?
Apparently we forced dallas' hand.
BS. If we really liked him as high as everyone we wouldn't have taken a 3rd string DT in the 4th round over him.

We needed a backup DT more than a starting QB. Our plan had always been to concentrate on defense in the 2016 draft. Also nobody could have seen what actually happened coming in the offseason. Now we still don't need a starting QB (see my signature) and Sheldon Day might be every Titans fan's most hated Jaguar LOL.
