Oh it works. But players cannot be separated from scheme. The scheme is the players executing for that particular talent. I don't think there is such a thing as a unique blocking scheme that doesn't take into it's very nature the players. If such a scheme exists it will fail. The talent has to be accounted for into any scheme is what I am saying.

I agree. When he threw that flag i was thinking, really?  Over that spot and at this point in the game?  He needs to improve in this area, it occured all season.

Do route concepts suddenly change? A successful OC will see what Hurns did best previously and will probably employ similar methods to maximize his abilities.

Sure, but that doesn't mean Hurns can't continue to learn.  He's young and as a ton of development in front of him still.
