We have to lose this game
I hope we blow the socks off the stinking tacks, hate them always

Winning this game would be a colossal mistake for this franchise. We will revisit this win in a decade like we are revisiting the win over the clots in 2011.

I agree, only this is the tacks we are talking about. No matter how hard I try, I just can't pull for them to win, especially not against the Jags.

That being said, I don't think we have to worry. The tacks will probably beat us because we stink.
I keep flip flopping on the whole win or lose thing.  A few weeks ago I flirted with the whole, "lose the rest of your games thing".  And at my lowest point, we had a miraculous comeback against the giants.

Now here we are, only 2 wins in this season, and to be honest, do I really care if we win against the tacks?  I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I do, one way or another.

Yes, come Thursday, I'll be rooting for us to knock the flaming tacks all over the field.

But if I'm thinking about things right now, after a loss, and with our next game 3 days away...  If we lose and get a better draft spot that we can parlay into more picks, I'm all for it...

Considering the fact that we have practically an ENTIRE O-LINE to fix, the more draft picks we get, the better.  So let's just go out there and do our best.  Let's make sure all our players get 2 scoops of ice cream.

But if we can somehow put BB5, Hurns, McCray, and Marks on IR and bring up some practice guys to start in thier place, hey, I'm OK with that too.

naw, Buccs will get Mariota.
This is the one game from early in the season I picked us winning, no surprise the tacks suck, even if they didn't they'd probably tank as hard as they could for a QB.

Last time I checked Charlie Whitehurst put his foot in the Jags' [BLEEP]. I have more confidence in their offense than ours. We're relying on the defense to score for us. This team is sad.
Home field advantage.  Believe it or not, we're 2-4 at home.

I have a vision of each fanbase rooting for the opponent to win.

There is no reason to think that. The Jaguars don't need the #1 pick to get an elite player. If you don't know that, you know nothing about the draft. We will get a top five pick regardless of what happens Thursday night.

Charlie Whitehurst is not the starter. This time we will play against Jake Locker. What is your point?

I concur. Top 5 mocked players currently consist of two QBs, a DE, a WR, and an OL. I am sure that one of those will be useful to the Jags. Just beat the tacks because nothing else matters. Some wounds will never heal.

I don't care who the top five players are in mocks. We may want to trade down from the pick anyway; you never know. And that list will change a lot before April 30.

Uh, are you actually arguing in agreement?

I agree we should play to win.
I want the #1 pick to trade out of it.

We can't get it. The Buccaneers have a weaker SOS because of the awful division they're in.
Titans have been so horrible. After a promising start at KC, all has been downhill!
