Do you take him and enjoy the youngest most talented set of 4 receivers in the league? This also might include Blackmon...who knows. We could run 4 wide all day and beef up pass protection. Cooper/Blackmon/lee/rob/hurns

It's a good fit for bortles and denard too. They're able to pick up first downs if coverage is tight but shouldn't be a focal point of our offense.

well if the other 400 threads werent enough, id say........ nope.
Take the BAP at this point. Reaching for need is suicide.
If there weren't so many good pass rushers at the top of the draft.

For the Jag, it comes down to one of the DEs or Cooper. Too high to take an online man. I am all for drafting Cooper if they see him on the same level as AJ Green and Julio Jones.

Get McCourty and Julius Thomas in FA, and some big ugly oline men in rounds 2-7.
I'd pick him at #8 if we were able to trade down and accumulate more picks.  Otherwise go DL

I have no problems with them drafting Cooper so long as they follow it up with quality bigs on both sides of the ball. And a freaking FS.

Nope, DE or OT.  Nothing else fits unless we fall out of the top 5.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. Ideally, you'd want to take a defensive lineman or pass rusher there.

If Cooper was 6'5, I would probably feel a little different.

Not really.  I think there are just as good of prospects that fill a bigger need.  Blackmon, Robinson, Lee, and Hurns has the potential to be a very strong group of WRs.

I like Cooper but he's not Julio Jones, Demariyus Thomas or Calvin Johnson. He's 6'0 tall.
... Then we get on the phone to the panthers straight away and tell them we can solve their receiver problems, for a price.

If he was one of those types of guys, I'd say grab him though.  Let Shorts walk.
People say that drafting Mariota (or Winston) would be a stupid pick, well not any more stupid than the Jags selecting Cooper with their 1st rounder.

You can have more than one reciever on the field at a time... Not a fan of selecting Cooper, but picking another QB (top 5) would be ridiculous.

QB is the most important position on the field.

Bortles might be ruined from Fisch.

The Jags already are going to have 4 young talented WR in Blackmon, Hurns, Lee and Robinson in 2015. If Shorts returns thats 5. Who's getting bumped for Amari? Amari isn't AJ Green, Calvin or even Mike Evans or K Benjamin.

The Jags taking Cooper would be the ultimate of incompetence.

I'm not saying that the Jags should take a QB above all others at that pick but taking a WR like Cooper would be just really really dumb.
Yes. I want Cooper. Odell Beckham Jr. is also "Only 6 feet tall"

OBJ is way better than Cooper. Dont want Cooper, rather trade down for White if they want a WR
No. Next question.
