Maybe they sit Blake on Thursday...  You know...  To heal up...

We still need Henne to be our top paid back up QB...  Who's our PS QB?  That dude needs to start!  Is it Stanzi still?

They did not sit Toby when he had the same injury. This is a divisional game at home on national TV. Why should we sit Blake if he can play?

The practice squad quarterback is Stephen Morris.

Thanks JW!

Yes, I think they should start Stephen Morris.  If BB5 is even a bit hurt, he should sit.  We don't need for our franchise QB to exacerbate an injury that could be a hindrance into next season.

I think sitting him would be prudent, just to be on the safe side.

No way. Chad Henne is next in line if they want to sit Blake Bortles.

Because Bortles could walk it off and keep playing, I don't see any reason to worry about the injury becoming severe. My main concern is he will get sacked 8 times again because of reduced mobility.
lololol  Confusedweat:

The amount of win in this thread is over 9000!

@ryanohalloran: Bortles right mid-foot sprain. Will be listed as questionable.
@HaysCarlyon: Gus says #Jaguars will have conversation on whether to play Bortles on Thursday, depends on how he progresses.
Hmm..I might go to a game if that Interception King Bortles isn't playing.

I think we've found the answer for "What could possibly get lower ratings than the tacks vs. Jaguars TNF game?".

Answer: "Blake Bortles not playing, Chad Henne will start."

PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN!

I'm just so thankful I can at least watch the game on a stomach full of Firehouse Subs this week.

Both DRob and Bortles out ? Maybe we'll get that number one pick after all.

Ugh. Didn't that send Drob to IR?
LOL!!!

Nobody said Blake is out and he probably will play.

Even if we lose, we can't get the #1 pick.
Maybe Bradley is just practicing the head coach mind game, AKA playing with the injury report a la Belichick  :whistling:

He sucks not much to it he was avg in college Mariota is the next Rodgers but we'll prolly pass on him, depending on how the draft goes and free agency if it's not good than I become a cardnial fan because I can do a better job than Caldwell with no experience
They should do everything they can to get Blake ready to play on TNF.

This would be his first NFL game played at night and that is always kind of special for a QB.

"Under the lights" as they say.

Of course the other reason is that the back up is a guy named Chad Henne, who I haven't heard a word about in about 11 games or so now.

He is just a rookie. Everyone knew he needs a year to learn how to play quarterback in the NFL. There is no reason to judge him based on just 11 games.

Then go jump ship chump.
