Quote:Beat me to it. Just logged in to say his supporters are probably working.
Which isn't true since just about everyone who works in Maryland and D.C. had off today.

If his supporters wanted to go, they certainly could have since their place of business was most likely closed for the day.

Is there is a lot of Trump supporters in those areas?
Quote:Not My President.

Not quite how life works. I can declare that I have a 14 inch weiner and a million bucks in the bank account. Still doesn't change reality.
Obama's inauguration was history in the making as the first black president, of course it was going to be a huge deal, as it should be. While Trump's is historic for a different reason, at the end of the day it's still just another old white guy that got voted in to office. Not anything anyone plans their vacation around to see.

A lot? Probably not.

I honestly don't care how many people showed up for him but to claim that "Well Obamas supporters don't work and Trumps do" isn't right. If people wanted to come out to the inauguration, I'm sure they could.

DC and the neighboring counties in Virginia and Maryland are heavily invested in keeping themselves among the elite who live off of other people's money. So no. I think DC was 90% for Hillary.

And that would go double for bureaucrats and government school propaganda merchants.

Of course not, the political class ain't on his side.
Quote:Even if this weren't fake, my response would be Republicans work on Fridays.

Oh, I thought they were all unemployed thanks to Obama.
Quote:Oh, I thought they were all unemployed thanks to Obama.

There are a lot of unemployed Trump voters (not Republicans) who voted for Obama in 2008, but they are mostly in the Midwest and can't afford to travel since George Soros isn't going to pay for them.

Quote:The Trump family is certainly very stylish, that's for sure.

And I'm actually going to miss Joe Biden...I like that old man.

Everybody always loves the crazy uncle right up to the point where he hops up on a table, drops trou, and starts urinating all over the place singing "I'm A Little Teapot". Joe is almost there.
Quote:Yup. And that thin ice is melting year by year . In 50 years time there will be no Bigfoots left .
So now we have to wait 50 years for the ice to melt?

Sweet!

25 years ago renowned climatologists like Ted Danson, Al Gore, and Prince Charles were telling us that would happen within 10 years. So things are getting better. Must be all the Priuses on the road.
Important dates I'm already looking forward to.

Tuesday November 6, 2018. Dems will take back the house

Tuesday November 10, 2020. Chump will lose election.

Wednesday January 20, 2021. This will be the last day Chump occupies the White House.

Interesting.  It is my hope that he does such a great job that he wins all 50 states in 2020.

Trump is like Bortles.

You may think he's going to do a terrible job but in the end, the majority want him to succeed because then we all succeed. But there is a smal crowd that wants him to fail no matter what.

You are correct it may not happen since he will be impeached.

Clinton was impeached, how'd that work with getting him out of the White House early?
Trump has only been in office two days and he already got Tom Brady into the AFC Championship game.

In the meantime, you should focus on maybe improving yourself every day and not wait for someone else to do it.
