Quote:Who said I was crusading for you?
You've got your own jilted school girl crusade going there, sugar pants.
You said you were fighting for those who are tired of all the whining and crying....I happen to be tired of it too, so I would be included in that group as well...as I said already that [BLEEP] will never go away even when things are fine and dandy...Now hurry and get ready for Ballet class...
Isn't is about time you 2 took it to the hotdog stand?

Obviously you are not tired of it because you took on the whinny mantra and ran with it.
You've been defending them for days.
My stand hasn't changed one bit. You are the one putting on the tap dance show now.
I would tell you to man up to it, but we already know that's not your forte. Your days of hissy fits in this thread speak loudly enough. LOL!

I haven't changed anything...I am still in the group who thinks we have improved some this year and who understand that people are going to say what they want on this board and your crusade to stop them is worse than the annoying whiny posts you are crusading against...For some reason you have this belief it's your destiny to rid this board of people who whine and cry about the teams, and constantly call to fire everyone...and then you throw in anyone who doesn't share the same idealism as you too...I don't know why you think you are supposed to be the self anointed savior of the board, but you certainly believe that you are...

Good god you are annoying. I moss the days of TMD absolutely destroying you.
Quote:Pretty close in a lot of them? 8 of the 11 games were double digit losses. Being in it at the half doesn't constitute 'close' when you get blown out early in the 3rd quarter. Also, ten of those opponent wins are from losses by the Jags. For example, Indy is 5-4 against the rest of the league.
I expect us to win the tacks game. The Jets and Giants are beatable, but probably losses nonetheless. I doubt we can beat Houston.
I expect a double digit loss tomorrow against NY. This team can't score and NY can.
Quote:Good god you are annoying. I moss the days of TMD absolutely destroying you.
TMD couldn't destroy anyone but himself.

It's better than being the self anointed savior of the cry babies.

You would have to find someone on that crusade to pin that title on, and it's certainly not me...I agree with you that it's annoying, but it's never going to change

2nd that... Why don't those 2 just make their own thread to yell at each other?
Quote:Please, there's a lot more to closeness in games than the amount of points you lost by. That can be so misleading. I trust I don't need to go in-depth on all the games for you.
Let's say closeness is being down by one score or less going into the 4th quarter. An average team can certainly win after being down by more than one score in the fourth quarter, but the Jags aren't exactly a high scoring powerhouse (32nd out of 32 teams). Being behind by two scores or more with only one quarter to play is pretty much a death sentence for this team. Averaging 3.65 points per quarter the Jags would need to produce nearly triple their average to exceed an 8 point margin.
Here are the Jags scores at the end of 3 quarters, and the final score:
Week Opponent
Score3 (jags-opp)
Score4 (jags-opp)
Week 1 Eagles 17-14 17-34
Week 2 Redskins 7-24 10-41
Week 3 Colts 3-30 17-44
Week 4 Chargers 14-27 14-33
Week 5 Steelers 9-10 9-17
Week 6 tacks 7-13 14-16
Week 7 Browns 10- 6 24- 6
Week 8 Dolphins 6-24 13-27
Week 9 Bengals 10-19 23-33
Week 10 Cowboys 7-31 17-31
Week 12 Colts 3-20 3-23

I've highlighted the games in red where the Jags were ahead, or down by 8 or less, after 3 quarters.

By that criteria, four games were close instead of three (the Eagles game being the difference). Four close games is still not "a lot."

Quote:My attitude was towards the people who were hijacking this thread.
If you don't want your little nose cut off then maybe you shouldn't be sticking it in other peoples business.
And right now you are whining and crying Nancy.
I can't tell the difference between you and the rest of the of the "whiners". You've done nothing but insult and bash people who have a different opinion than you. Be careful your maturity is showing.

Different opinion? I couldn't care less about a different opinion. Having a different opinion isn't the problem.
Now you little cry babies get to see what it's like to hear constant complaining. I'm hoping it provides the stimulation needed to let your balls drop.
I'm not sure what it's about. Maybe it's the lack of a true male figure in your life, but some of you are a few decades past the time this was supposed to happen.
Just a public service to help turn some of you realize how a man should act. I don't know. Products of broken homes or something, but someone in your life should have taught you the lesson that boys don't cry, especially over a game.
It's funny that you complain about insults and bashing, but you think it's perfectly ok to do that to the players and people in the organization behind their back anonymously on a message board. It gets pretty uncomfortable when you become the one being called out. I probably have spent my money on the services that your employer provides too. That means I have the same rights and entitlements to speak about you the same exact way that you seem to believe you have rights and entitlement to personally bad mouth the people in the jags organization.
There are no special rules that say it's ok to do it behind their back. I just have the fortitude to do what you consider a right to your face.
If you can't handle it coming back to you then don't dish it out.

well thank Heaven we have you to fight for US even though no one asked you to! What would we ever do without you? Oh I know, we would just have the insight and intelligence to know that "it is what it is" and it's never going to change, no matter how good the Jags get, the whining and crying will always be here. If not from posters talking about the team/coaches/owner/gm,but also from people like you who whine and cry about people who whine and cry... Carry on with your childhood dream of becoming an internet message board SUPERHERO!

I would also highlight the Bengals game. It was a 26-23 game with 8 minutes left. I'd say that was a close one.
The Dolphins game was a game the Jags dominated, but fell flat on their face.
Wow! More excuses on why it's ok to lose.
I don't know if any of you know this, but you improve by winning ball games. Imagine that?
Quote:I just reviewed the Jags schedule for this season.
- Philadelphia (8-3)
- Washington (3-8)
- Indianapolis (7-4)
- San Diego (7-4)
- Pittsburgh (7-4)
- Tennessee (2-9)
- Cleveland (7-4)
- Miami (6-5)
- Cincinnati (7-3-1)
- Dallas (8-3)
- Indianapolis (7-4)
Our schedule's actually been pretty brutal, and the team's been pretty close in a lot of them. However, 4 of our next 5 games are against teams with losing records. Hopefully we're able to see the Jags pull out some W's against weaker competition. Houston, Tennessee, and New York are all very beatable teams.

No one is fighting for you. You've already have your fellow skirts to champion.

I hope you know you're arguing with your own imagination at the moment.
Quote:Yep. The Jags pulled to within 3 late in the Bengals game after being down 16 early in the 4th quarter. That lasted all of five seconds.
Sadly, it really was one of the Jags better efforts.
Indeed it was. The difference between winning in losing can sometimes be just a few moments of mental mistakes.
