Exactly.
What exactly would he want to jump to the NFL for? He has it made at OSU and the $$$ is great. He's a god there, no reason to make the NFL leap unless a premium job were to open up at the NFL level and that doesn't happen often. He's making like $4.6 million a year at OSU. I'm not sure he'd make much more than that at the NFL level.
He doesn't strike me as a coach that's cut out for the NFL anyway. Some guys are just better off coaching college age kids and being involved in recruiting.

And in the NFL you have to work a lot harder. And the wins don't come nearly as easy - i.e., you don't get to make your own schedule.
And less time to play golf.
