Quote:the offense is what is pathetically failing.

Bradley is horribly failing at leadership is my point.

2 of the 3 phases of our team suck (Offense and ST).  It is on the HC to get the right coaches, develop the players, ensure the game plan is good, etc.

He doesn't necessarily DO these things but he is RESPONSIBLE for them.  You can delegate authority but not responsibility.  So, if the offense sucks then Bradley needs to ensure it gets fixed by the current OC or replace him if necessary.  He hasn't done either.  Same with ST.  Bradley has not taken approriate actions as a leader.

With that being said, Khan as the owner and top of the food chain should replace Bradley.  He is paying Bradley to lead this team as I described above and Bradley is flat out NOT doing that.

This is LEADERSHIP 101, it's very, very simple!!!
I'd love to demote him to DC but i don't think it's possible

Quote:If he's not gone, hopefully an upgrade with those coordinators you speak of have NFL experience, good experience, successful experience.

Quote:If Bradley isn't fired, he'll be on the shortest possible leash. What coordinators do you think you could possibly get?

I just don't see the Jags firing Bradley this off-season, both Caldwell and Khan seem pretty patient in their philosophy. I don't think that applies to the coordinators. It's no sweat off my back if Bradley does get fired though.

A few offensive coordinators that I think would be good are Rick Dennison, Ken Zampese, and Randy Fichtner.
We really need an offensive coach with a QB resume i.e. Harbaugh. It's like we run a high school offense from a 1A school.

Harbaugh woud be great but would Khan spend the dough needed to make it happen? Doubt it. He's running this team off the clearance rack.

We are the Wal-mart of the NFL, low-wages and low-quality.
I still don't think you fire him after this season.  Whatever lol

God that makes me sad.  We thought Weaver was cheap, and then Khan comes in, and we don't even spend our money that we have for talent.  Then we settle for Badley, and everyone below him suck too.  This organization has not changed as far as being cheap.  I'll tell you one thing though.  Even though Weaver was a cheap pushover, he knew how to hire Head Coaches.

C'mon man.

This team makes WalMart look like Gucci. Smile
How anyone can have confidence in Gus Bradley at this moment in time is beyond me.

What exactly has Gus done, outside of flap his gums, that leads you to feel good about the direction the team is going?
We are paying a defensive coordinator to be a head coach.  Even though momentum doesn't carry over from year to year, bad coaching sure hangs around for a decade.  If I just looked at the scores the last 3 years, what difference is there between Murlarkey and Bradley?  No arrow is pointing up and there isn't even an arrow?  Neo there is no spoon, there is no spoon.

You can't. That's why some people confuse me on here. Do they know these people or work for the Jags?

It's a results based business and the results aren't there. There's one main thing that the two coaches have in common. Actually there's two.

1) neither are any good.

And

2) both did a poor job hiring coordinators.

lol had ONE good HC who ran the team into cap purgatory.  Then he let Shack and Gene destroy the team.  Like it or not.  Can't win games with a roster thrown together after two years with literally nobody left from the previous regime and starting a rookie QB.

Yes TC had us in cap trouble but we also went to the playoffs for 4 straight years and 2 AFC Championship games!

Dude even Del Rio is light years from this regime. He could turn these turds into. .500 team
These are from before this season began...

Bradley was ranked 26, 31, and 26 on the respective links below that ranked NFL Head Coaches.

If anyone honestly believes Bradley has improved this season then they should be medically evaluated!

Quote:Main problem is with Jedd. The defense has had its moments, while still being relativley young in the back 7. If the offense could sustain drives they wouldnt be on the field all the damn time. Forcing 3 turnovers in the first half and holding the Colts to only 6 points, 3 of which came when they got the ball in the redzone, should have sealed the game. Even a mediocre offense should be able to put up 20 points in that situation.

and who hired Jedd?

Lol del rio motivated nobody. He developed nobody. Seriously, did anyone progress under him?

The team quit on him. He got fired before his last season was over.

Do you guys forget this?

If del rio had a 1 win team at this point in this team, we wouldn't be 2.5 dogs at home, we would be 14 point dogs at home because the team would have quit.

Del rio wasn't a head coach, he was a linebacker.
I feel Gus doesnt command or lead the team as another poster said.

It feels like there is no accountability at all. Everybody is just getting better and competing. Its BS and i myself supported bradley but right now he appears too nice and the players are playing with no sense of urgency on offense. All of that trickles down from the HC.

Fisch is horrid and i believe is hurting blakes developement. Either fire Fisch and make a statement that this garbage wont be tolerated or pack up and leave with him in the offseason.
