I think that if a pass rusher they covet isn't there, then Fournette and Cook are "in play" at four.  Adams may be as well, but it's tougher for me to see them going safety that early.

As of now, it would seem an O-Lineman would be a significant reach at 4.

CB is an extreme outlier possibility. But because we're talking about CB#2 on the roster - a top five pick seems too pricey for that spot on the roster to me.

What DE in the last ten years we have drafted in first round didn't bust?
Fowler?  Are we calling him a bust already?

He and Yannick are the only ones that matter since others were from prior regimes that are long gone.

Also, past history has absolutely nothing to do with future prospects.

Browns - Will take Myles

49ers - Wants to trade out of the pick, can't see them taking another Dline player, but if they stay at that pick they just might do that.

Bears - Allen is sure to be an option but I personally think they go with a QB or DB

Leaves us with Allen or Adams

I'm starting to get the feeling that our FO is going to look to find that premier pass rusher if he's available. I'm basing this on the fact that they haven't really divulged the changes that are expected to come to the defense (im thinking a true 4-3 look with 2 edge rushers on the field), Coughlin's comments regarding the pass rush, and the release of Odrick. Now they very well may try to fill that position in free agency, but if by chance they think Myles Garrett is available I think they pull the trigger. Fournette/Cook are going to be their fallback options and I think will be excellent consolation prizes.

God I hope so...
Hopefully free agency clarifies a bit on which route we go in the draft.  If we sign a big-name safety (Berry comes to mind), then at least we can probably narrow it down to a RB or D-lineman.

LF has apparently lost 15 pounds in preparation for the combine

He's gonna be a monster.
I definitely don't want him under 220, probably not even under 225.  Speed is great, but he's pretty quick already and if he's got jets at 235 or so, no reason to cut too much weight.

He's supposed to be at 222,I think that was the number noto 100%
He's gonna blow up the combine

Fournette just weighed in at 240 lbs at the combine. So much for him coming in 15 lbs lighter.

Interesting.  I'm curious to see what he'll do at that weight.

Jesus christ. Not a big fan if him at #4 but holy [BLEEP] it would be fun to see him play here.
if he runs so low 4.4 at freaking 240...

Exactly.  Sub 4.5 at that weight would be amazing to see.  He may be trying to prove a point.

I highly doubt he will.
Fred Taylor ran 4.42 at the combine.

The over/under for Fournette is set at 4.43.

Anything in the ballpark and he'd be difficult to pass.  Nearly impossible if under.
