This is a pretty neat article. And these next paragraphs blew me away.....
"Since playing in London for the first time last year, a 42-10 loss to the 49ers, membership has grown from 20,000 to nearly 35,000."
LOSING NOT A DETERRENT
<p style="font-size:14.3999996185303px;font-family:helvetica, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif;color:rgb(0,0,0);">"One of the more intriguing aspects of Union Jax’s growth is that it’s happening while the Jaguars are in a major down cycle. They have lost 34 of 41 games, the NFL’s worst record since the 2012 season.
<p style="font-size:14.3999996185303px;font-family:helvetica, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif;color:rgb(0,0,0);">None of that seems to discourage the U.K. fan base, mainly because they tend to gravitate toward an underdog, especially one making inroads to embrace them."
<p style="font-size:14.3999996185303px;font-family:helvetica, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif;color:rgb(0,0,0);">It's a good thing they like an underdog because we've got that covered in spades. I know our fellow UK fans here have said they like an underdog. I guess reading that most UKers feel that way and seeing the growth from 20k to 35k after a loss just blows me away. I wonder how much growth there will be after the brick we unloaded yesterday. It should be phenomenal.
