LOL, very witty!

That  might not be for another year...  Plus there's still some games left in this season...

Oh who knows...  Odds are looking like Fish isn't gonna figure out how to scheme an entire game.  He seems to know how to call up the first 20 plays, but after that, we're toast.

On the D side...  We need upgrades at LB and FS, but for the most part we're OK.  I just wish Babich would always bring the pressure.  Everytime we play a zone and only rush 4, we get burned.

Oh and why didn't he just have McCray blanket Dez....  McCray was shutting down Dez in the first quarter...

Anyways, that's my take.

Oh and Shoelace is legit.  BB5 was OK.  Made some good throws, threw some innaccurate ones.  Seems like the game plan is to go quick read, which considering our O-Line is smart.  We couldn't pass protect very well today.

Again, like I said, not much to be positive about.
Quote:No I don't have faith in either of them, I'm willing to let it play out another year but faith would imply I believe it's going to turn around starting next year, and I just don't see it.

I think we're seeing the makings of our D turning around.

The major concern is the offense...  It looks mucho no bueno
Oh and special teams...  Can't forget how horrid our special teams is...

Quote:There was very little positive about this game...  AR15 and Shoelace on the offense.  McCray on the defense...

Everything else felt like a big ole crap sandwich we were forced to eat with warm urine to wash it down.

I'd like to forget this game and move on to next week.

We are moving on to the bye week

Yeah, they put the "special" in special teams don't they.
OC with some actual experience in running a pro offense. Should have went for a Kyle Shanahan type OC. A bunch of 1-2 year players and an inexperienced OC = not successful

I am 100% confident that we will not lose next week!

(of course, Bradley better tell the entire team to stay home and not get arrested!)

I think we should start calling them the "short bus" team
I am very confident in Caldwell, but Gus is starting to lose me. I think how he comes out of the bye week and finishes the year will determine his fate. If it were up to me I would give the whole group one more offseason.
Quote:My survey says we ain't makin' the playoffs next year either.

My survey says things that I cannot post here without repercussions.
I'm just spit ballin' here, but Cam Cameron is available to be picked off of LSU's team...

Sure LSU stinks offensively, but that could be the talent they are recruiting and more on the HC's philosophy..  Cameron was a legit OC, a horrible HC, but a good OC...

I can't think of any other OC's that would be available...

Fish get's me excited for about 15 minutes every sunday.  Then the remaining 45 minutes is like watching a monkey make love to a football. It's not pretty

For people saying "you cant fire him, then nobody will want this job..." Im pretty sure nobody would expect to keep a job with 5 or 6 wins in 2 years, especially if the lesser season is in year 2.
Yes and yes. But Fisch needs to change some things up and we need to fire the special teams coordinator. Special teams have been killing us the last few games.

Where does the confidence in Caldwell come from?  Marks is the only good FA signing.  Joeckel and Cyp are busts so his track record for early draft picks isn't looking good and that's what counts most.

What am I missing?
Caldwell is average, but eventually might be one of the best.

On the other hand, Bradley is well below average and shows no signs of ever improving.

Honestly it's waaaaay too early to evaluate caldwell. You need to give gms some time to see players develop.

Coaches are easier to evaluate. Even if the talent isnt there, you should see improvement from what you have. We arent seeing that.

i agree with this post....
I don't have faith in the linebackers and secondary.

If bortles continues to [BLEEP] the bed and we dont win more than 1 more game, how on earth can you defend giving gus another year with a straight face? I sure hope those same people were defending mularkey.
Or are there that many people who were hypnotized into blind faith again.

LOL... those coaches had planned to sit Bortles.  Can't get what you wished for, then whine at the results.  Doesn't work that way.

Fans are desperate.  Thankfully, Khan is not.  Championships aren't built on knee jerks.
