Quote:The team needs people like you? Lol.... For what?
For starters, to not put an annoying 20 font red signature in my profile.
2nd because I represent the non-delusional, 30's fan who will continue to support this team financially and still voice my opinion's about their awfulness on their official team message board.
There should just be a stickied "panties in a wad" thread. My only complaint is the starting of endless threads all essentially on the same topic of belly aching about this or that.
Lol needs people like you! Because you post on the message board
We are pretty much past the point of disappointment, it's just laughter now
Well please don't stop posting because the team needs to score today, lol

So you have no complaints about the absolute garbage they put on the field. No, your real complaint is a bunch of message board posters.
What.
Jags paid Toby all this money to waste downs
I'm pretty sure laughing at your own team is a slight sign of insanity so I'd say disappointment came a good ways before this
We have officially become the 80's New Orleans Aints

LOL - nice come back!

yeah, that's pretty much where I am. I'm also on nyquil... So that may be helping me...
I feel bad, but I gotta be honest, I switched off the 2nd half of the game, and only came back to see Shoelace score the TD and AR15 get the 2 point conversion...
First time all season I stopped watching the jags... Besides the first quarter, we just didn't seem to be prepared for this game. Maybe the cowboys are just that much better than we are?
Quote:Who are you to tell someone to go away? This teams needs people like me now, more than ever.
You mean people to tell us the team sucks? Newsflash, people have figured that out for themselves.

Saints went 20 years. We have gone 4 since at least being in contention. The team is bad right now but try having a little perspective.
Quote:Those who understand that inexperience coupled with injuries equals this aren't worried about anything.
In fact, we kind of like watching the other "so called fans" reveal that they really can't stomach the tough times. It's too tough for a lot of you, and some of us understand.
+1

I don't think there is much of a talent gap. It is more of a coaching gap. The Jaguars coaching staff is that much worse than 31 other teams.

I think this team IS more talented than last year's, but the coaching staff simply isn't developing players, coming up with good game plans, or making halftime adjustments.

This right here is why I will always linger around the jungle. This is spot on analysis.
I think we're all coping with this team in our own ways. But we're all still crazy enough to be fans.
No matter how much some of use cannot stand others, (lemmings Vs. bed wetters) at the end of the day, we're all still here. It'll be pretty sweet when we're on top. Whenever that day comes.

For me, the only thing I am on is Jaguars football.
No substances involved in this lethargy.
100% Jaguars induced.

I agree with the last two things you identify as the coaching staff not doing.
It's frustrating when you see a positive 40-yard run or pass play and you know there's about to be a turnover, and then there is. Everything follows the script. Romo plays with 2 broken bones in his back and we never touch him and never really try to. We rush 4 fatties all day until it's 31-7 then we start sending a FS and Romo has to leave the game. Why not send 5 or 6 at him in the 1st quarter when the game means something?
We play vanilla until we trail by 4 scores, then we open it up. By that time, the other team is laughing on the sidelines and we look great against air.
