ill make any bet necessary that FSU does not win the national championship this year.

Who do you think will win it? I've yet to see a team that convinces me they can other than FSU. The team just knows how to win and is fielding the best QB in college football.

jameis just isnt as sharp this year as he was last year.... probably because of losing some players on offense and the defense lost some guys too. they were dominant last year, not so much this year. i think a team that has a high powered offense would put them in a tough spot but i also think they would have trouble scoring against a really strong defense.

alabama looks like the favorite to me to win it, but i think FSU might actually matchup the best against them.

depends what the playoffs look like. idk that yet.
I've been saying all year that FSU is just hanging on for dear life here.  All they have to do is make it to the beginning of January and then they can wipe their hands clean.

As far as Jameis and his attorneys, same exact thing.  When are finals in the fall semester at FSU?  Very beginning of December?  Thats the last time Jameis has to even pretend to be a student.  So basically one month.  Sure sign up for classes in the spring but he'll never go to any of them.  Their football season will be over early January at the very latest.  And once they play their last game, he will no longer be affiliated with the university.  And he wont have to worry about student disciplinary hearings or anything else.  He'll need to be a little more careful as far as getting in trouble with the law because the school will have no reason to help him... and the local PD will be less inclined.

Quote:i believe i read in the FSU code of conduct that he violated the rules and can be suspended or kicked out of school. even if he didnt actually rape the girl, according to the code of conduct, on FSU's website....he violated the rules.

my guess........ they get it delayed until he is draft eligible and nothing ever comes of it.

gut feeling also says this isnt the last we hear of jameis and criminal or rule breaking activity.

i understand FSU fans love FSU and want to defend it. why go through so much trouble to defend jameis though? just admit the dude is likely a piece of crap and move on.

I think that last paragraph explains how most people feel about it...but that just makes us haters in their eyes.

I guess we will see....just glad we have a QB and will never draft this guy!

A strong defense? Louisville had the number 1 defense in the country when FSU beat them by two scores. Only high powered offense ive seen this year is TCU.
Here's some more red meat for you guys. I'm sure ESPN will run this all day tomorrow.

The media is hysterical that none of their smear campaigns are sticking to Winston, so we'll see all kinds of BS like this the rest of the year.

Why are you so sensitive to ESPN as if they are the only people reporting this? Your qb is an immature joke, but you want to keep supporting him.

It's not your team that people dislike...it's you're quarterback.

I say embrace the hate. All of you have made up your mind's about him based on what the media feeds you.

As opposed to making up your mind because he plays on your favorite football team...

I don't care if people like FSU or Winston, I just find it funny that the guy is public enemy #1 in the media for extremely petty stuff. Almost like the media has a vested interest in non-SEC teams being torn down...

Lol, and what are you supposed to make your mind up on him about?

Go find the thread about the student union issue....numerous FSU fans ripping him.  All the sudden you all love him again?  Because the guy may bring you another national title...he can do no wrong apparently.

The poor me the ESPN SEC bias is already old.  Maybe if your quarterback didnt act like an immature 12 year old they would leave him alone.

Nobody was saying this last year when ESPN was ripping Johnny Manziel.

Your fans are soft...its sad.

Have you ever said something out of frustration that you didn't actually mean?

You meant every bit of it and you know it.  To use this excuse as your cop out makes the situation even sadder.

You posted multiple times in that thread......you know how you should really feel about him, but your fandom wont allow it.
Jameis did what thousands of college kids do each weekend.  They get layed and leave the next morning.

So funny that people use that ESPN loves the sec talk but it was literally one year ago when manziel from the sec was in the same shoes.

Maybe ESPN just hates the sec!?!!? Oh...nope its because the players that are morons just happened to be in that conference atthe time.

Another thing i have been blasted for saying is that FSU is winning in spite of Winston this year. If you FSU lovers hop over to ESPN you can read an article where jameis himself says that he has been hurting the team this year with his play. So maybe you can flame jameis and tell him that he's wrong and that he doesn't know anything about football to say something like that.

A little reality never hurt anyone. It doesnt make you any less of a fan to admit someone that plays for FSU's shortcomings.

lol so you're a lawyer now?
