I've got to find a way to include La Nopalera in my list.

I had a fine dining experience one time a long time ago (don't even remember the name) and the plates were so tiny, they were like a samples, and the bill was OVER twice what a good dinner should be.

 

When they say you are paying for the experience and atmosphere, they are right, because no way should that little food cost that much.

 

It's no wonder a lot of people that dine at fine dining places like that are skinny, because it would cost $200 or more to fill up a big person, just 1 big person.

It's all a state of mind.. People go to those ritzy places because they have a need to feel superior, to have the best and freshest.. Let them pay for it haha

 

I'm one of those more "down to earth" types.. I can have fun anywhere I go, whether I'm drinking a glass of wine from a "fine establishment such as Olive Garden" or a small plastic fish tank filled with coconut rum and little umbrellas.. 

 

You don't go to the party, you create it anywhere you go..

I've never had an Indian breakfast tho. But I bet it'd be amazing.


So, yea. Indian food. Much variety.

 

I was in India last year and we had a homemade Indian breakfast.  It was basically an indian style omelet and a sweet pancake/bread type flatbread.  The guy I was with put them together and the Indian guy we were with was like you arent supposed to do that.  He didnt care, he said it was really good that way.

 

I ate them separately.  The chilis and spices in the egg was amazing.  I could eat some authentic Mexican any day.  The food over there was great....it wasnt the harsh taste of curry that you get over here sometimes

I don't really agree with the people have to go to ritzy places to feel superior.  I like going to nice places and eating good food.  Sometimes you have to pay a little bit more than you'd like for that food.  If you are going to a place and spending a lot of money for small amounts of food, you arent going to the right place.

 

I can enjoy food from Outback or Carabba's just as much as Ruth Chris or any other fine dining place....the steak is just better at Ruth Chris, and you have to pay for it.

Fine: Le Cellier at Epcot before it went bland.

 

Sit down: European Street for the huge menu

 

Fast: Taco Bell

 

Ethnic: Mi Vera Cruz on Spring Park by the Post Office

 

Diner: Beach Hut

 

Buffet: The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.

Outbacks steaks are like chewing on my desk. Never have liked that place... Carrabba's on the other hand the marsala...the bomb!

Depends on the prices. Of course Ruth Chris, Three Forks ( Dallas ) are great. Raintree in St.Aug

For everyday menu prices..gotta love Mojos, Any of them. 4 Rivers is good too. 

Hell after a night of rebel rousing, a sack fulla gut bomb Krystals are fine

Forgot..The Bunny Ranch in Nevada. Best seafood.

My obvious choice was the buffet at The Cosmopolitan in Vegas.  Number 1 nowadays.

That buffet at the Cosmopolitan is amazing.  Good mix of some different foods you dont see every day and the norm.  

 

The breakfast buffet had a full dessert bar.....amazing.

The Hendricks Ave location was my favorite. We just got a new Mexican restaurant near me, which is amazing considering how sparsely populated my area is. Great prices and very good food. Whenever I try a new Mexican restaurant I try to get a few minutes with the manager or owner, to politely pick his or her brain about what they feel are their specialties and also what and how they cook for themselves. I'm fascinated with how other cultures, especially those in poorer countries, can use limited resources, waste no part of a vegetable or animal, and create delicious food.

That one is my favorite one too. It's pretty much the only La Nop we go to.

I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food but, Rosy's in Mandarin is very good traditional Mexican food. 

 

They are a nice, family-owned, place with good food and everything is reasonably priced.

For mexican, Moe's sucks. Tijuana Flats ain't too bad. But Moe's is just a glorified more expensive Taco Bell. La Nap is good too.

Casa Maria is pretty good too and their Margarita's are top notch.

I agree, but Moe's crushes Taco Bell. The bell is awful.
