Quote:Hataz like you won't stop Jameis, and thus the rest of the team, from being scrong.

enjoy the winning streak while it lasts. i dont see any possible way they win a national title this year.

and there is no way jameis is coming back next season.

dire straits for FSU.

Its all in phases. FSU was down for awhile and now they are back up thanks to great recruiting and coaching. Florida and Miami used to be great programs and are experiencing the down times. Enjoy the ride and eat some humble pie, FSU looks to be a force for a few years based on the young talent.
Quote:its 11 on 11. in the past year or so, a lot of you stopped being FSU fans and started being jameis fans.

thats a depressing realization. you idolize a total scumbag who isnt as good as it looked like he was going to be. hes definitely a really good college qb but he isnt the second coming and i dont think he will be that good in the nfl. he just doesnt have it between the ears.

Well thank god we have your expert scouting to tell us this.

just my opinion. didnt mean to hurt your feelings, mr sensitive.

hey, i have a great idea. lets have a forum where no one ever speaks their mind or gives their opinions! should provide some really riveting conversation!!

Yea I can't see any way the undefeated defending champion with their undefeated Heisman QB can win the championship this year. I mean maybe they won't, but you can't see any way it is possible? LOL.

You are underestimating how scrong Jameis is.
So Achilles' opinion is that having won 23 straight games, a national title, and the Heisman; having 18 draft picks over the past two years, one of the hottest and most sought after coaches in college football, and a top 5 recruiting class year in and year out; we're in "dire straits."

Once jameis is gone, yes.
I was at Epcot on Saturday....It was funny how many people had on FSU stuff, and very little Gator gear.  Two years ago, it was 100% flipped.  Funny how fickle fans are....Gator fans used to be the cocky ones, and now its the exact opposite.

Called it 3-4 years ago. Everyone said I was wrong.

It's pretty annoying actually.  I still wear my wore out FSU stuff to let the band-wagoners know what's up.  New magnets/flags on cars...new hats/shirts...so lame.
I can not stand Band Wagoners. They suck, absolutely suck.

After having to watch Chris Rix, Drew Weatherford, Xavier Lee, and EJ Manuel, I think longtime FSU fans such as myself have the right to enjoy this for a little.

This x1000000000. FSU fans suffered through ten years of hell.

I refer to that as the glory years.

One thing about the state of Alabama. That will never happen. When you are born you have to declare which team. If you don't care then you are hated by both fan bases. You just soon move. I don't think I have worn red in my life! 58 years!

I remember that like it was yesterday. Unbelieveable. The sun shined on a Noles tail that day.

I don't know about all that.  In the down Alabama/Auburn years, their fans were scarce as well.  I get that people aren't all in when your team sucks, but to act like you start watching football when your team is good is a bit disingenuous...and fake.

It's kind of like being a Jaguar fan.  It's not cool right now, but if/when they start winning this whole town will light up and every single person will have been a fan since 95!

It has nothing to do with flipping from FSU to Florida and back.

But rather Gator fans choosing not to wear Gator gear as much in public.

It's fans in general for the most part. Not relegated to any one fan base.
