Quote:I don't agree with your usage of scapegoat. Babich would be totally deserving of being canned. No "scapegoating" at all. He wasn't any good as DC with the Bears before coming here, was DEmoted from his perch back then, and he's still no good at it. Badly (love that haha) never should have hired him for that position.

Since we really don't know to what degree Babich is calling plays according to what Gus has prepared him to call vs. certain offensive looks or situations  --  it's hard to be certain that he's the problem.

He might be a big part of the problem, he might be doing mostly what Gus would do, or he might be a victim of being forced to run a scheme that just sucks when 4 of your back 7 are not fit to be starters.

Either way - he's the only coach  -at this point - that I'd be on board for a change being made.  If Caldwell can find someone that likes Gus' scheme but can help him tweak it to suit the roster - I'd be very happy.

Babich sucked in Chicago at the same position despite no shortage of talent.

Theres a high probability that he's the problem here or at least just as big a problem as Bradley (Badly) himself.

If anybody is a fall guy, I think it is Babich.

With Fisch, I think he has to get some credit for the development of Bortles. And when you take a step back and look at what he is working with, the deck is stacked against him. Plus I get the sense the offense is only going to get better along with Bortles.

And while the defense is playing better, there were still times last week in Tennessee where guys looked out of place. Some of that has to be schematic.

Quote:...Not take ME serious???

You are bashing Harbaugh when all he has done out in San Fran is WIN. Any nonsense about him "not being able to control the locker room" is TMZ rumor garbage and meaningless when there is no correlation to it showing up ON-FIELD.

Ryan as Defensive Coordinator is one of the best in the league. You simply cannot separate Ryan the head coach from Ryan the DC. I'm not suggesting we bring in Ryan for HEAD COACH, though.

And finally....Koetter is destroying Atlanta?? Mike Smith is the head coach, sporto...

You seem to be all mixed up. No wonder you defend losers like Bradley and don't give proper blame to Mike Smith and proper credit to the other 2.

Bradley's a loser now, eh? Man, you literally can't let anything play itself out, can you?

He has some growing to do. At the end of the season we'll see for sure. Just hold off with grand proclamations until then.
Quote:But Gus doesnt call the defensive plays. this is where i think we need a change let him start working on making the defense better.

Exactly. Why doesnt he just call his own plays? Plenty of other coaches do it. We hired him after his success as a coordinator. How bout we see it.

We were duped.

He really didn't have THAT much success as a DC, in all honestly.

His Seattle defense blew that giant lead in the Atlanta playoff game and had to be bailed out by the offense late.

The Seahawks defense didn't reach its peak until Badly left. And to be honest, it didn't even start even getting better until Carroll arrived.
