Quote:I asked if he was right because we had a pretty lengthy thread just this week where just about everyone was convinced he'd gone off the deep end to suggest Bradley is way over his head.

I wasn't convinced before this week Bradley was in over his head, I am now.

And that is fine. I would start that thread without hitching yourself to the TMD wagon.
Quote:Well maybe he shifted points, but I think he's right about Bradley after today. Bradley is in way over his head, we made a mistake. Hopefully he can put it all together but he's making horrible game day decisions that are costing us the chance to win a game, not games, a single freaking game.

I think the problems deeper, like last week I think the plan is flawed from the start.

It's easy to be right when you take every position at one time or another.

Exactly. You'll be right no matter what.
Quote:12 seconds. And how do you blame Bradley for not going for it but also blame the offensive line for bad blocking? What happens if he's sacked trying to get a couple extra yards? Game over.

You've still got to try for it.  If it doesn't work, it doesn't work.  But if you don't try, it can't work.
He must be using Del Rio's old headset. "Throw the challenge flag... come on..."

What they did was perfectly fine. Nothing at all was wrong with the call.
i dont think we have a guy in the booth

I think the D-line is the only unit which is better. QB will be better with more game time. Other than that, I don't see anything that could be considered an improvement.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">In the 18 losing <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#Jaguars</a> locker rooms I've been in with Bradley as the coach, this is the most dejected I've seen the players.

Im not sure what one poster who complains about everything the team does has to do with the current state of the team.

Both the challenges were terrible obvious calls.

I do agree also though about Fisch play calling. Wilson and most of the Tennessee defense were squatting on the short stuff. I was waiting for a pump fake double move to exploit it all game, but it never came.

Um...QB is better now. The best it has been in 15 years if not ever, Even as a rookie in his third start, Bortles is better than anybody the team has started in the last decade.
Some people are great coordinators....however; they don't make great head coaches. I think after a year and a half it is pretty obvious that is what we have here.
Quote:Which was a career high for him according to the announcers today.

At a minimum Fisch and Babich need to go and I'm not sure Gus shouldn't be right behind them.  He chose two poor coordinators to start his coaching career with and it will likely be the death of him here if he doesn't fix it.

+1

Big risk going with almost total noob staff.
I hear his rah rah everything looks better we're improving we're working things out every week. Every week it gets older and older.

Quote:Too early to call Joeckel a bust IMO. He needs an entire off-season in the big boys weight room, then we can make a decision on him after next season.
I wonder who the weight training coach is? Every other NFL team is huge and we look like a college team.
Heck our entire FO staff is new to their job!

Quote:Really?

Joeckel looks like a bust

Cyprian is legit a good 2nd round pick

Gratz has already been demoted and we're hoping he can salvage the pick by playing a smaller role at nickle

Sanders and Robinson get tons of hype and little production

Evans, Harris and McCray are all role players but that's expected for late round picks.

It's to early to tell about this years class but Bortles appears to be a home run hit.
The first draft was using the scouts already in place from the Smith era.

That's the worse excuse I've heard yet.

Less than half of the people on the team now were here when Caldwell was on.

Currently 7 of the 16 members of the team were here before Caldwell.  And Dengler has been here since the Coughlin days.

Joeckel wasn't even that bad of a pick.  Picks don't work out sometimes.  It happens to all GM's.  It certainly wasn't a reach.  You can argue that we should have stuck with Monroe, but there's no guarantee Monroe would have stayed here without us using the franchise tag on him.
