No, I only said the word concussion is not used for arm injuries. That does not mean there can't be something similar.

A concussion is a bruise caused by the brain hitting the inside of the skull on the opposite side of the impact. That can't happen in the arm. However, arm tissues can be bruised at the site of impact.

I know usually they're type 1 injuries but you're saying it is a different type!?


Is it a type 2 concussion? I just don't know much about brain strains in the arm...

They actually call it a concussion, not contusion?

 

What does type 2 mean?

Storm was average at best in the pre-season. He looked heavy and slow, so about the same as Gerhart. I believe he has shed the extra weight he was carrying and its starting to show up in practice. Thus, he gets game reps to show that he is indeed improving.


It's a pretty simple concept if you think about it.
