Jacque gone indeed.
Were sources needed to know this was imminent?

Now where would we be without sources in the sports world or anywhere else for that matter?

Sources are people too.
My source was Pardon the Interruption show last week when they did a piece on his soon to be firing upon their return from the Midwest trip.

George Karl tweeted that he just got a lot more Orlando-area followers haha. Outside of waiting for Thibs to split for Chicago, Karl would be my top choice.

You are right. That wasn't my question.

I'll take that hire.  He's the best out there right now.

I really wish they would have handled the Dwight/JVG thing better.  DH set this team back 5-10 years.

Yes, sources are very valuable once you weed out the bad info from the good info.
Magic absolutely just blew one against Chicago. No way they should've lost that one.

They're getting down early and having to fight back.  They have to come out faster.

I can't even watch them anymore.    Going from the Jags to the Magic is quite depressing.

They have some young guys that could be really good.  They need that one "star" to pull it all together.

Hypothetical --- thinking out of the box here .....

#1 --- Sign K. Love to improve shooting (assuming he can get back in the rhythm next year without Lebron).  OK .... I know he'll probably go to the west coast if he doesn't re-sign with Cleveland......

#2 --- Let's assume Golden State gets knocked out in Round 1 due to the defensive style of play in the playoffs.  Would you offer up Oladipo (+ maybe a high 2nd round draft pick) in exchange for Klay Thompson?  I know it's not really a good fit since Oladipo and Steph Curry both play the #1 position

... just looking to get some outside shooting here....

Everything looks good to me.  I'll be honest, I don't do deep dives on the NBA and who is willing to trade or is looking to trade.

I still hate DH for what he did to this team.

Given his injury issues and the fact that he bolted on the Lakers as well, we were very fortunate the Magic actually made out in the trade with the Lakers.  I still would have liked to have kept Van Gundy and DH in the perfect world.
Brett Brown is a god.

Gonna have this Sixers team in the playoffs next year.

You draft (or trade up if needed) to get Karl-Anthony Towns. He fits perfect next to a vucevic and has franchise player potential. In a few years KaT and Vuc could make up the best front court in the league and then you would also have Dipo, Payton, Fournier, G

No, I know thats true...he's just such a jerk.  They were talking about Billy Donovan leaving the Magic after a couple hours and how he probably would have failed too because DH would have done the same thing to him.  Then everyone would be saying a college coach can't handle pro players....lol.

While I like love that idea, that doesn't fix the outside shooting.  The Magic were 0-12 at one point last night from the 3 point line.   That's why I was attempting to trade Oladipo for Klay Thompson if GS wants to emphasize a little defense next season (if they go 1 and done in the playoffs).  There is a real possibility GS will face OKC in round 1.

If we can go twin towers like you mentioned above AND find a fix for the 3's we should be ok --- need JJ back.

JJ is hurt a lot now though.  He had a lot of back issues in Orlando, and they are only getting worse out in LA.
