Quote:People hate on him. But if Marcedes was healthy this offense would absolutely function much better.

I thought we played well against a very good team.

I would not say Pittsburgh is very good.

They're ranked in the top 10 in both offense and defense. They're a good team. They're not the Chargers good, but they're good.
If we were 5-0 Id be so happy
We are not 5-0 .  Why should we not complain about being 0-5?

What we're seeing is a young team going through ups and downs and growing pains.

VS San Diego the offense actually moved the ball and got into the end zone. The D gave up too many big plays.

This week, the D does its job and the offense can't get anything going.

The offensive woes are directly linked to 0 run game, and rookie mistakes (by Bortles and WRs)

I suspect next week we'll look a little better. Maybe even squeak out our first win.

Throughout the year we're gonna have games where both sides of the ball aren't firing on all cylinders. But eventually it should level out.

Bortles needs to limit mistakes but he is a rookie. Hell most the team is. People want what can't happen and that's to be better over night.

This team has a lot of growing to do.

The OP is right though.... Many on here would still complain being at 5-0. Because that is what the trolls do.

You label anyone who complains a tool?  Wow your smart.   People have a right to complain.  This team has been losing for over 7 years and the last few has been down right embarrassing.   Just because you decide to close your eyes and drink the koolaid don't expect everyone else too,.

Agree 100%.  Watching the game with my wife, I kept saying that it was encouraging.

Go back and read earlier threads prior to the start of the season.  Many had us winning maybe 4 games tops.  I was a bit more optimistic and had us going 8-8.

I for one saw improvement yesterday.  We didn't get blown out and were in the game in the 4th quarter.

The reason we have the worst offense and the worst defense is because we had the worst front office three years ago. The problem has been fixed. Now it just takes time to heal. If you think Caldwell is the problem, you are a tool/troll. That's why complainibg is stupid. Complain when your franchise qb busts. Complain when your top 5 wide receiver can't see the field. Don't complain about the healing process.
We're getting closer.  There's some teams that will be getting worse.  If we get better , we should start putting together a W or 2.

Everyone has a differing opinion of what's OK and what's not. Some people see 0-5 as bad. Others see it as improvement over last year's 0-8 start. From BCC, Alfie will be satisfied as long as the Jags are not eliminated from the 2015 playoffs before week 13.

Personally, I'm disgusted with 0-5, getting blown out by a terrible Redskins team, losing at home to a bad Steelers team, and watching mental error after mental error from the defense, supposedly Bradley's area of expertise. Would I complain about the team if we were 5-0? Get back to me after we win ONE SINGLE GAME.

We're NOT 5-0. We're not even close to having one single solitary win. We have ZERO wins. We have the worst record in the NFL after week 5 for the second straight year. Are you really satisfied with that?

How about the Alfie line? Is not making the playoffs in 2015 OK as long as we're still in the hunt in week 12?

What would it take to admit that the (currently 4-17) Caldwell/Bradley team is not working? Shouldn't the coaching staff be able to do better with the players Caldwell chose rather than the players Caldwell got rid of? Del Rio / Tucker went 5-11 with those discards, and with Blaine Gabbert at QB no less. Caldwell has had two drafts and two periods of free agency (with tons of cap space) to upgrade the roster, yet 5-11 this year is now a dream scenario.
