Quote:Well. Defense played far better. There's a positive. We weren't blown out.
and we were in the game in the 4th quarter... but literally did nothing offensively... they blitzed when they wanted and we didnt make them pay... pitts pressure killed our line which wasnt a supprise but i put the game more on them than i do on our wr's... if henne would have been in there, we may have seen double digit sacks again... makes me wonder how we would have looked in the washington game with BB
Yup Fisch has cut Blake's arm's off and made him stop throwing downfield like he did  his first 4 appearances.  They're Henneing him!!!

People will start getting fired soon
Blown assignments, bad tackling, wide open conversions, same ole same ole. Bortles looked good in the first half again but struggled mightily in the second. But they do have a hall of fame scheme.

fixed it for U

What's so funny?

It's true.

Every year improvement is promised and it doesn't happen.
Defense actually stepped up. Offense was miserable
3 FG in the last 6 qtrs of play.

Their loudmouth, towel-waving fans fans do.
We will get it... I have the faith but some parts of this staff need to go. Also, if this defense continues giving crucial moments up that easily on 3rd downs maybe Gus needs to leave.

Lol

nah.. he was trying to keep his composure up after he threw the pick 6... u cant have him keep throwing deep on the cover 2 when they are blitzing the way they were... the open routes are underneath and out side in the flats.
It was a much more competitive game than the last few, but that's also because the Steelers are very good this year either, especially on offense.

This coaching staff lost this game. Poor use of time management, Bull*hit underneath throws. We as a fan base deserve a win. Laying down and punting on 4th and 1 was stupid. We have nothing to lose but yet we are coached like we do. Go out there and be aggressive and go down swinging for ****'s sake.

Nothing has changed is hilarious.

New Owner. New Coaches. New players.   In reality everything has changed.  There is literally nothing that's the same.

Even the score/  It's worse than it was.  You guys can freak out - but I'm waiting to see the youth on this squad develop before I flip out like most on this board lately.  It's hard to stomach -  but there's no denying having 7 guys under 23 years old on your starting offense.  That's young and they're gonna make mistakes while they learn.

The D made a tiny step forward today - but still can't stop the run or the over the middle passes.  That's gonna take roster upgrade at FS and at least two LB spots.  Won't happen this season.

we have a severely young team... if we start changing staffs on them left and right, we will do the same crap we did to gabbert and the others who came up with him... people wanna see us competitive, and i think we got that.. just came up short... i expect the same as anyone else, super bowls in the future, but i know u got to give it time with this young group... if we are 0-8 i think we will see seats start getting hot, but lets see how we do against the next 3 teams... we should get wins out of them.

I'm guessing you mean they aren't very good this year, and that they've struggled on offence? They've actually been decent on offence but bad on defence this year.
The qb is a rookie. The Oline is half rookies, including the center. The WR are all rookies. What do you expect?

Can we get like one touchdown? Too much to ask?

With all due respect...  The changes you are talking about happened a couple years ago at least and a few years ago for the owner...

With that said, I thought the game was more on rookie mistakes and less on playcalling this game...   So that was nice to see
