Yeah and they both started off in Tampa 2.

Gus isn't the HC so Marrone can tell Wash to run whatever he wants. Anyone know what he ran in Buffalo?
Players spoke out and theres a new head coach so im hoping the garbage scheme is done with.. Honestly dont care about scheme as much as i want players put in position to use their strengths

I think he ran a 3-4 with Schwartz, not 100 per cent sure though.

I'm perplexed about retaining the entire staff though, just bring in a great and proven DC...but what do I know.

Attacking 4-3 with Schwartz.

Thanks, I remembered incorrectly then. Smile
Pettine was a Rex Ryan guy, so whatever you consider that defense to be.

Schwartz runs that Wide 9 43.

Which uses a wide-9 front...LEO isn't going anywhere.
Go. And give me Marrone's buddy Mike Pettine.

The wide 9 is pretty unique to Schwartz atm. The D next year will probably be a standard 4-3 which was pretty much what we played for most of the year with a few differences. Still don't want Wash and co back.

The Redskins interview him today for their DC Opening after letting go Joe Barry last week.

Omg, the crappy coaching staff is here to stay.
Go
Just read an article that said Marrone is not replacing any defensive coaches.
If I hear the talk in the offseason about how the focus is on turnovers I will know it's complete BS. They seem to be fine with the defense staying the same and in this league you constantly need improvement.
Wash has to go. But he won't. Too many people are giving kudos to Jags for being ranked 6th in defense. It's a padded stat just like Bortles's 4th quarter stats. The scheme was ineffective. We never could stop anyone when it mattered. We need a clean break from that scheme.
What a joke. So we go 15-49 and we keep all the crappy coaches that got us there? Unreal. No way we win more than 4 games next year.

Why?

You don't think players can get better at what they do or that schemes be adjusted?
