How do you block people on the board?
@ryan oShad Khan: The results will speak for themselves in time, but ... no question the Jacksonville #Jaguars are a stronger football team today.

Hahahaahaha

Now that Gus is gone, the scheme now becomes Wash's fault.

People can't make up their mind who to blame.
You are right

You are right on.  Opinions on this board change like the weather.
Let's see how the defense looks without the soft served ice cream zone
The Ice Cream defense lives on.
I do feel like this team can use a real DC capable of putting together a scheme to fit the talent on the roster. Those are not easy to find. That said, I think Wash is an awesome coach and I'd hope he'd be willing to stay on as the DL Coach.

I'm more concerned with the overall scheme than the game planning and play calling. Keep Wash if you want, but the scheme needs to fit the players we have and not that dream.
Quote:Just read an article that said Marrone is not replacing any defensive coaches.

Link? How old is it? Is this just speculation?

This will still be here.
Wash was the resident sprinkler.
Hit the road

Mike Kaye seems to feel pretty strong about Wash turning to a more traditional 43.

All over twitter that the defensive coaches would stay if marrone was hired. Doesnt sound like it was marrones call

I get that feeling as well. When was the last time a team changed HC and kept all the staff?
I bet they go traditional

Yea seems very odd.

And then you have the reports that Coughlin doesn't like Bortles but Marrone wants to keep him, and the report that Coughlin didn't want a front office job until after Marrone was hired and then he changed his mind.

The whole thing is weird.
