Too much money.

Quote:I wouldn't worry about that.

Wouldn't worry about what?
Quote:Thanks a lot

Army

Former Air Force here.

Ya goofed up!

Just kidding, good luck and have fun. Remember it is all a mind game. Just stay quiet and out of the limelight.
It would mean I got what I wanted for my birthday! It happened 14(?) years ago under JDR's first year as a coach. We started out 0-4 and won the first game of the year on my birthday.

Quote:It would be a nice gift a week before I ship off for basic training

Thanks for your service!
A smile on my face

Quote:Yes they would. It happens after every win. Just like we'll go winless after every loss.

Ah yes, the extreme highs after a win and the extreme lows after a loss, such as life being a Jags fan.
Ace Sanders was more important than i thought.

Quote:Luke McCown 2011.  Useless bit of trivia for the day.  He was undefeated in 2011....for 1 game, beat the Titans.  Then he pooped on himself at the Jets.

Wow, so it's been 3 years since the Jags have had a QB with at least a .500 record at anytime during the season?

How sad.

How very sad.

Well, at least BB has a chance to make that happen on Sunday with a Win.

I know the Jags will be 1-4 if they win, but BB has a chance to be 1-1 as a starter IF the Jags can find a way to win.

To me, that would be a big positive accomplishment, of which we haven't seen many of around here in too long.

Why do you say that? We have always known Mike Brown sucks.

I'm not sure that's actually correct. Didn't the Jags start out 1-1 (loss at MINN, win at INDY), 2 or 3 seasons ago with Blain Gabbert?

Don't get me wrong,, the Blaine and Henne show has been dreadful, but I'm pretty sure Blaine was .500 to start that season.

Granted, it was all seriously downhill from there, Lol!

Henne actually was 1-0 as a starter here at one time.  Granted, he played most of the Texans game, at which point he'd be 1-1, and he played most of the Raiders game as well, where he'd be 1-2.  But Gabbert lost to the Texans before we beat the Colts.
Im not ruling out the playoffs, were only 2 games behind indy and hou will implode once they face a decent team

We have to fix the running game and defense before talking about that, so until I see improvement, I will keep saying wait until next year.

Wow what a great question!!! I'd say it would mean to me, Game on - let's gear up for a run for something. The division isn't out of reach. . Let's play for the playoffs!
a. that the game was probably 'fixed'.

b. the steelers must have gotten sick while flying here...

c. there does indeed still exist the possibility of the miraculous...

It would probably swing the beer consumption about 6 to 8 beers. Not sure which direction yet.

Yeah,, it would have to be a division title to get them in the playoffs IMO.

The Wild Cards are probably already gonna be "spoken for," realizing that Bengals/Ravens in AFCN, and Chargers/Chiefs/Broncos in AFCW.

Doubtful any wildcards are coming from the AFCS. We'll see.

The only way we get in as a wild card team is a repeat of 1996. And we all know the chances of that are between slim and none.

Thanks for serving.  5 1/2 weeks there?
To me, a win would mean we suck less than last week.
