Quote:Yes, stay away from ACC QBs. I think you all are catching on because I'm starting to see some very good responses. Remember, UM was not in the ACC when they had great QBs. Right after they joined the ACC, their QB crop went into the trash. Look at Virginia Tech .... non-ACC = Mike Vick enter ACC and you get bad QBs. Pitt= Dan Marino Enter ACC and you get Tom Savage. Louisville= Bridgewater Enter ACC Will Garner who just got hurt.

Phillip Rivers

Russell Wilson played 3 years at NC State

Matt Ryan

Mike Glennon has been pretty good
oops I meant to state:   Stay away from ACC QBs whose first names begin with letters A thru L (excluding the letter J)

Quote:Yes, stay away from ACC QBs.
Who said anything about ACC? I was talking about AAC, where Bridgewater and Bortles came from
Quote:he also has more than a full year in this system...

don't get me wrong I love that Hurns is producing for us, but he isn't as good as everybody thinks

Why do people think this means so much to a receiver?

It really doesn't. For a Quarterback, it means a lot, but for a receiver it doesn't mean that much at all. Which is why you've seen teams plug in receivers and not miss a beat plenty of times.

Hurns' only advantage is that he was able to develop more chemistry with the quarterbacks because of the heap of injuries surrounding everyone at the time.
Stay away from AAC QBs that last names don't begin with the letter B

I think you might be on to something
I think Hurns and Robinson compliment each other well, Hurns has big deep play ability but a lot of that is because defences have to watch out for the medium pass to robinson because he's such a big bodies receiver, each do well because of each other, Robinson will always have more catches but hurns will smoke him on ypc

It puts them 4-6 weeks ahead of other rookies many times because they don't have to learn a whole new batch of terminology from a new oc in camp.

At this point in the season it doesn't mean much. They should a be on the same page with that stuff.
It was written...the scouts eye is still undefeated
