Is this really happening? After all this time it's inconceivable. What it's like to be one of those teams with 99 problems (but a franchise QB and a playoff berth ain't one).
Yeah but say the jags think the rams want Bortles, as soon as the Rams become open to a trade that shatters the myth. Nobody risks missing a franchise qb by trading down a spot in the top 5.The story wouldn't add up.
The only way they get the jags to trade up is to tell the jags the browns etc want to trade up to draft a qb and they are going to accept the trade.
The Cowboys have such a stacked young O-line. Smith, Frederick, and now Martin.
Quote:Houston has someone that goes by the name of JJ Watt? Clowney was overkill, I'd be upset if Houston took Bortles. Clowney, not so much
Had the Texans taken BB, with JJ Watt and that defense and talent on offense, just WOW!!!!!!!!
Between BB leading the Texans and Luck leading the clots, the Jags just might not be able to win, or even compete, for the division for a long long time.
Quote:I don't think anyone doubted that Teddy it could play. The question is his longevity because of his build. He's got hurt in his first game so its a legitimate question. Time will tell.
True.
Now think for a moment how TB would hold up behind the Jags line, and lack of running game, and factor that in.
I think the questions about how TB will hold up as a smaller QB are legit.
Like you said, time will tell.

They invested heavily and its paying off.
