At least we know the man doesn't do anything halfheartedly. If he's going to do something, he's going to do it full out and all the way.

Everyone does, but not everyone has the target of the pick being slid out on vidoe. YUCK

I get that. But, Marrone was vilified for the same thing, and now we see the dysfunction he walked away from. Not saying Turner did the same, but we don't really know what caused him to bolt. At any rate, McCoy would be my top pick, strictly for his ability to mentor Bortles.

I have reservations about Mike Smith.  I mean we could do a lot worse, that's for sure. I just think he's a guy who could get us to the playoffs--but never any further.  I'd love to be wrong if he's the hire.  But time will tell.  Here's hoping whoever we hire to have real success for once.


 

Smitty is a good coach, and would be a decent hire.  My concern, as others have expressed, is that he is a defensive-minded guy, and his success will likely depend upon a good OC.  

I still wish they were interviewing Haley, but I get why they wanted to move quickly with available candidates.
