There is too much young talent at WR for someone like Shorts to get a second contract IF he isn't on the field.  He needs to find a way to stay healthy, otherwise, he is gone.

Blaine Gabbert is a former top 10 pick with elite physical tools, the guy that traded for him as an ego bigger than Texas, it's apples to oranges.

I don't know about all that.  But we definitely have other options now.   

I just wish he would stay healthy.... Id hate to see him leave and do well like alot of the players we have let go. But if he was just to disappear then it was worth letting him go.

You have no idea whether that's true. There is no possible way you could know that. Repeating it insistently doesn't change that.

Who said cut him? The Jaguars simply won't resign him, no one is going to trade for Cecil Shorts because he'll be a free agent, he's also average and can't stay on the field.
