Quote:You have no idea whether that's true. There is no possible way you could know that. Repeating it insistently doesn't change that.

I think it's safe to assume his injury history makes his trade value almost non existent beyond at best possibly a 6th round pick, and that's being generous.
Quote:Exactly, let's give up a draft pick for an average receiver who can't stay on the field.

And yet guys who should garner no interest get traded, guys with much less good tape than Shorts.

I wouldn't trade for him. I'd be shocked if anyone does. But we've made trades I thought not possible before, so saying with certainty that it isn't possible is just foolish.
Cecil seems to have lost his play making ability. I remember the big plays he made for us at the end of games that won us games or gave us a chance to with Gabbert and Henne at the helm. It's unfortunate, but I don't see him coming back next year.

Sure. And at this point, I'd be glad to have it.

The team couldnt even get a ham(string) sammich for this guy.

I'd be happier than anyone if the Jaguars acquired a draft pick for Cecil Shorts, but it's simply not going to happen.

I doubt they could secure even that for his services.

Well obviously I agree, but I would have absolutely said that Gabbert was worth less than nothing in trade. Turns out that wasn't true. So I'm not willing to say it's impossible to find somebody desperate enough to give something for Shorts, even if I wouldn't.
Wasn't he going in not completely healed from his injury?

Imagine if we had Blackmon

We need him back bad. Our offensive woes would be over with him and Bortles slinging the rock around.

Call me crazy, but with 14 points, that's good enough to win a game with a solid defense.. The offense will definitely improve, the defense is a bottomless pit right now..

Has he ever completely healed from an injury? He played in the Colts game, so who knows.

Hamstrings usually take more than a week or two to heal. That's the same reason why Lee isn't playing now and why Robinson missed the majority of the offseason.

I'm well aware. He took about 5 weeks off last time. That was after the month he took before that for the other leg. Evidently neither was enough.
Garbage.

Exactly. He caused BB interception. I hope he's gone after the season.
One has to wonder if he will ever get past being 91% healthy.

Maybe when he retires.
