Wow. TCU and Ole Miss pulling out some nice upsets today. Gotta dig it.
10-04-2014, 07:27 PM
Oregon, Alabama, A&M and Oklahoma all go down this week.

Quote:Yes I heard it properly, you're not supposed to be on the field. It's a rule pretty much everywhere I'd imagine but it gets broken all the time. This is the biggest win in their history I would imagine. They're going to celebrate accordingly.
Such a the guys sitting/jumping on the uprights right there.
I have seen that happen after OSU games. When Purdue beat the Buckeyes at home several years ago, fans sitting in the front row jumped down to the field.

Upset Weekend
When was the last time two top five teams lost the same week?

Auburn is known for their run game, but probably have two first round talents at receiver.

No, the best matchups happen during Rivalry Week and Conference Championship Week.

Quote:Ole Miss has a heck of a schedule coming up.
Next week @ A&M, then the Vols, @LSU and then vs Auburn.
They won't make it through that undefeated.

If they can beat Alabama, they probably can beat those four teams.

I disagree, this week is loaded with primetime level matchups.

Yeah, how could you? That's about as tough a schedule as you'll get. I wouldn't be shocked if they lose as soon as next week at A&M.

Three top 5 teams.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">2 Oregon, 3 Alabama, 4 Oklahoma & 6 Texas A&M all lost this week. The only other time 4 of Top-6 teams lost in same week was Nov. 3, 1990.

I guess some people think Oregon's loss was an anomaly and does not indicate the Ducks were overrated.

As a Nole fan, the only game remaining on the schedule that makes me really question is the game with the irish..

i agree with you. rivalries are fun and usually good matchups. but these matchups this week were big time and can really wind up shaping the playoff picture.

Not sure how the rankings will pan out now but i'll take a random stab at it.
1. FSU
2. Ole Miss
3.Auburn (assuming auburn beats LSU)
4. Miss St.
5. Arizona? <--too high?
6. Alabama
7. Baylor
8. UCLA (assuming they win tonight)
9. ND
10. Mich St. (if they win tonight)

Five is way too high for Arizona. When VT was unranked and beat #5 Ohio State, the Hokies were #17 the next week.

Nebraska vs Mich st. is a go, that'll be fun. Let's see that nebraska ground game vs st's D.
Also thanks JW^. That puts things into perspective. I'd would venture to then say that Arizona would be ranked between #13 and #15 then.
