Another NFL Game Day is here again, Jaguars Nation!
Our Jacksonville Jaguars are in the West Coast in Southern California to play the Chargers, in their longest road game by distance this season. Jaguars rookie and #3 overall pick Blake Bortles from the University Of Central Florida is in his first career regular season start, and will try to help lead our Jaguars to their first-ever regular season win in San Diego. Jaguars unfortunately are currently ranked last in the NFL in Total Defense.
Jaguars and Chargers are playing in their seventh regular season meeting this afternoon. San Diego though, unfortunately leads the all-time regular season series 4 games to 2, and also outscored Jacksonville in the previous six games 172 to 105. Jacksonville is seeking both their third win over the Chargers, and their first win in San Diego in nearly seven years.
Jaguars are also trying to avoid a 3-game regular season losing streak to the Chargers. Josh Scobee's two field goals from 30, and 23 yards were the only scoring for Jacksonville in San Diego's 24-6 win in their last meeting played at EverBank Field back on October 20, 2013.
Jacksonville's last win occurred at EverBank Field back on November 18, 2007. Josh Scobee started the game scoring with his 48-yard field goal, and later added three PAT's. QB David Garrard then threw two touchdown passes, a 36-yarder to Reggie Williams, and a 1-yard pass to Marcedes Lewis, for the 24-17 victory. Jaguars also defeated the Chargers in their only other win, in their first-ever meeting since Jacksonville entered the NFL, winning 27-21 at then Alltel Stadium back on October 5, 2003.
Andrew Catalon, Steve Tasker, and former Jaguars and NFL QB Steve Beuerlein are announcing the late regional single header game for The NFL On CBS, seen regionally throughout the USA, and locally on WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47, live on HD.
Frank Frangie, former Jaguars and NFL lineman Tony Boselli, and veteran sportscaster Jeff Lageman, are also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, simulcast on Jaguars flagship station partners WJXL 1010AM, and 92.5FM, WGNE Gator Country 99.9FM, and the Jaguars Radio Network heard thoughout the Florida Panhandle, and Southern Georgia.
Clear and partly cloudy skies at 72 degrees, is the local game forecast inside Qualcomm Stadium, for the 4:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 86% precipitation, 38% humidity, and mild northeast winds at 6 miles per hour.
Visiting Jaguars are wearing their black jerseys, and white pants, while the Chargers are wearing their white jerseys, and navy blue pants.
NO further injuries, and let's see Blake Bortles and the Jaguars upset the Chargers in San Diego. GO JAGUARS!!!!! B) ^_^

BORTLES! BORTLES! BORTLES!
All day Saturday I wished it was Sunday because I had no college game to watch. I am very excited about seeing the Blake Bortles era begin. Now it is Bortles time!

Tasker and Beuerlein again...hopefully we stay ahead and win so they can sound depressed the whole game.

It seems like we always get Steve Beuerlein no matter who his partner is. I don't know if Steve Tasker is a Jags hater or not.

Quote:Tasker and Beuerlein again...hopefully we stay ahead and win so they can sound depressed the whole game. They are the worst of the CBS crews and they always get the less entertaining or popular game so of course they do mostly Jags games. we start winning every week we might get an upgrade to the tv crew

We will die a fast, and still a PAINFUL death.
I love you all, Jag fans. Only we understand what it means to support this group of ragtag nair-do-wells.
Will sport my Bortles jersey at the bar tomorrow nonetheless ... and hope for some entertaining moments in the middle of the embarrassment.
