 - El Bolt Bakers  (if he were drafted by the chargers or just sold them weed)

 

 - Blase Lob Trek  (when he's traveling to an easy road win)

 

 - Rob Stable Elk  (his given Native American name)

A reporter asked Blake shortly after the draft what he thinks of the nickname Bortles Kombat. Blake said he does not play the name Motral Kombat, so I always wsished it did not catch on so easily. I thought when Blake said that, he meant it is a bad nickname for him. But apparently it is impossible to stop anyone from calling him that since I have seen it enough to think it is already his official nickname. I just don't want it to be like Pot Roast, which Terrance Knighton didn't like being called because he hates the taste.

 

Now if Cecil Shorts is calling his former workout buddy Bortles Kombat and Blake never told him to stop it, I guess he likes it and does not need another nickname from all of us. However I am not sure if it really fits him like B2 Bomber, which refers to his initials and ability to throw long touchdown passes, because I don't play MK either.

Why is B2 Bomber dumb? Bomb is slang for a long touchdown pass like the 57-yarder to Marqise Lee in preseason. That was how somebody here came up with it.

 

I will never like Bortles Kombat for a guy who said he does not play the game Mortal Kombat.

Maybe for a group of players. Fearsome foursome. Steel Curtain. Purple People Eaters. But those guys earned it. BB has done nothing yet. Just like the dumass names for Gabbert. Blake or Bortles are just fine

 

As for a group of players, maybe a nn for the D.  Like since they play on Sundays , The holier than thou D. A D that can make it seem like a Billy Graham revival when everyone stands up in unison saying Jesus Chrissst!!!!

You guys do realize that this guy already has shirts with "Bortles Kombat" on it.

No, I did not realize that. But since there are, I guess B2 Bomber and Blake the Snake (my favorites) will never catch on.

 

Of course I don't see any reason we can't call him BB5, as some members are already doing. But I personally will just call him Blake or Bortles if other people don't call him Bomber or Snake.
