Quote:I'm gonna go into history a bit with the original c'mon man moment...96 playoffs against New England, trying to tie the game and at the Pats 5 yard line when Brunell throws the INT that basically ended the game for us. We got it back for another try but the pick was the moment I remember.

I flew to this game on a Chartered Plane of Jag fans, So much excitement going up to Foxboro and the quitest return plane trip EVER..

The electrictiy went out in the stadium for around 15 minutes to throw the boys from Fla a curve, thanks Parcells..

I remember the PAT fans chanting "Natron.... Means Nothing" over and over...

Anytime Blaine Gabbert dropped back to pass.
Though not a specific play, the "choppin' wood" incident in the locker room deserves to be on this list.

Special Teams:

Hanson - Choppin' Wood (as mentioned above)

Hanson - Fondue scorching his foot

Podlesh in 4th round

Anger in 3rd round (bypassing Russell Wilson)

Games 1, 2, and 3 this year.

I really wish people would stop with the whole "we missed Russell Wilson for a punter" thing.  30 other teams passed on him twice for other players, many of which aren't even in the league anymore, before we took a punter.

I'm not saying that taking the punter was the smart thing to do, but if we did take Wilson, this board would have exploded for us drafting an undersized guy with throwing mechanic issues coming out of college.  Hindsight is always 20/20.
The past 6ish seasons that I've been following the team.

Plaxo spiking the ball.  Of course that was on the Steelers but C'mon Man!

Edit:

My fan C'mon Man moment...  Just have to trust in Gene the genius.

Coach Moment..... "No More 3 Yards and a Cloud of Dust"...  Nice JDR

Quote:Not starting Bortles week 1.

That was not a bad idea, actually. We needed to figure out who will snap the ball to him first and upgrade the right tackle position. I just wish his first start could be at home.
The River City Relay. Counts for both teams

Actually, my opinion was that sitting Bortles was a bad idea. Which is why it was my C'mon man moment.
My C'mon man moment is one I loath dearly.

David Garrard's last snap at QB in the regular season I believe. (might not have been, just that the others didnt matter after this) We were playing the  NY Giants. They had been blitzing us to death. All game they were blitzing. 4th down and they showed blitz. Everyone at teh line. What does DG do? Go under center and snap the ball without changing the play whatsoever. Four dudes on the sack and im screaming at the TV like "watch the blitz!!!" "They are blitzing!!!" "Call an audible you idiot!!"

Trading Reggie Nelson for David "the opposite of Deion Sanders" Jones.

OMG. This is the very point where I knew we were in trouble with Gene Smith. This guy was/is an idiot.

Nothing worse, nothing, than the 14-2 season and losing to the other ' Stache twice and then in the game that would've sent us to the SuperBowl.

Anyone there that day knew exactly what a dagger ripped into your heart felt like.

The second half was the ultimate C'Mon Mannnnn. Followed by cusses and tears.
Quote:The Broncos usually don't play at the same time we do. When that does happen, I watch the Jaguars.

How was that Hail Mary a "C'Mon, man!" moment?

You're asking how a Hail Mary completed against us is a c'mon man moment? Is that a joke?
I can't remember what year, but the c'lots were here and we were playing them pretty tough.

Manning threw one on the middle of the feild to Clark, there is Reggie Nelson, on position to tackle him, but just turns his shoulder and gives Clark a love bump. Clark scores the td, game pretty much over.

Actually, that was Wayne Weaver that said that.  And that quote became famous as it was perceived to be a shot at the former coaching staff, but it wasn't.  It was meant to quell the anxiety over hiring a defensive minded coach.  The quote then subsequently became legendary after finding out the offense did indeed become three yards and a cloud of dust.
