Some great stats through 3 weeks for Hurns. 6/7 receptions for first downs, 3 of them for TD's and a great average. Some points in the last few weeks he's looked like a UDFA (drop against Washington, drop or two yesterday) but other points he's looked like a first rounder.

If he keeps it up, he'll finish the year just a shade under 1000 yards. Not bad for an UDFA.
Growing up in Western NY I have a lot of friends who are Bills fans. It's so nice letting them know our UDFA is outperforming their first round pick that they gave up waaaayyyyy too much for.
I'm a huge fan

I keep saying it, Hurns aint done yet. If he can hold onto the ball and stay healthy, hes gonna hit 1000

Hurns is one of the pleasant surprises so far this season.  He looks like the real deal, with good hands and excellent size & strength once he makes the catch.  His numbers would be unreal if he had caught the easy TD last week and a few other long passes he had both hands on.

Allen Robinson looked good, too.  He and Hurns create a matchup problem for smaller DBs.

If we can get Shorts and Lee back to 100%, then get Ace Sanders back for the Steelers game, with Bortles getting  few weeks of reps with the starters, maybe we can get this passing game cranked up.

Ace can have Mike Brown's roster spot as far as I'm concerned.  Mike's been a real disappointment this season, when he should have been setting an example for the young guys.

On another positive note he is beating Sammy Watkins in yards too (ranked 30th in the League).  His 3 Rec Tds arent too shaby either..

now with Blake at the Helm (especially with all the WR injurys) Hurns should have a good game against the Chargers...

I agree in the last few weeks from what Ive seen Brown do its been very disappointing.
Hurns is going to be a beast. He has good hands and the ability to break tackles. Just need the defense to get off the toilet and play ball.

Not gonna lie, wanna see Mike Brown stick around because he went to my school.

I know, just giving you a hard time, sorry if I struck a nerve.
No nerves struck. Takes a lot more than that to rattle me bro!

When Hurns starts hanging on to the passes he's dropped, he'll be an even more complete weapon in this offense.  He's been one of the flashing bright young stars for this team.  Hopefully he continues to improve.

Brown is a likeable guy who can do a lot of things for a team. The numbers just isn't in his favor. As of right now, Hurns, Shorts, and Robinson are the clear top 3 guys. Lee would come in at 4th, and Ace will be 5th when he comes back. With the struggles at OL and defense, once we get all of our WRs healthy and back (*knock on wood*), they might sacrifice that 6th WR spot to find someone who can run, cover, and tackle.

I dont buy the WR's are a dime a dozen thing but you can find real good ones throughout the draft. I hope we never spend a top 15 pick on another one ever. Blackmon is a waste and Sammy Watkins might be good but we have Hurns doing what people in Buffalo want Watkins to do right now.
Agreed. Ive also been pleasantly surprised with Allen Robinson these past 2 weeks. He has amazing body control while airborne to adjust on the ball.

Not only are the numbers not in his favor, he's failed to impress everytime he's been given an opportunity, Mike Brown is simply not an NFL WR.
One thing that's happening pretty quietly is that Allen Robinson is leading the team in receiving.  He's seen a steady increase of snaps on offense every week.  20 the first week, 30 the second week, and 42 yesterday I think.

Hurns is brightening up the offense too Smile Good to see that we've got promising young WR's.
