The guy was obviously hired into a tough situation. Worst roster in the league. Handed Blaine Gabbert. Left to clean up a mess. His personality was an ideal fit but can he coach? We don't know. What we do know is that his record as coach is 4-13.

I think he actually got the benefit of the doubt in 2013 considering the team started 0-8. We didn't hear many complaints about Bradley. Rolling off 4 wins in 5 games was impressive after the bye. But then ended the year on a three game skid. Now that is at four losses in a row.

Although the underdog, it would be no upset if the Jaguars were to win today. Washington was awful that week. RGIII is still a shell of his former self. They are missing starters on both sides of the ball with injury.

But what if the Jaguars lose?

That would put them at 0-2 and headed back for the home opener. Imagine if Philly wins tonight at Indy. Do you like our chances against a desperate 0-2 Indy team, even at home? The same team that blew us out twice last year. Then it is on the road at San Diego, on the coast of horrors for this franchise. Could 0-4 happen? That would give Bradley an 8 game losing streak and a 7 game losing streak in a year and a half in the NFL. That just doesn't happen.

No.

If the team does start 0-4 and Henne is still starting, that Pittsburgh game intro could be ugly.

Seriously?  There is no way that Bradley is on the hot seat; 2nd youngest team in the league, went from THE worst roster in the league to one that is still in the bottom quarter, but that is at least on the rise.  Shad isn't going to make a knee-jerk reaction.  He's in this for the long-haul.

If it is a roster on the rise, we need to start seeing it. The second half of last Sunday's game looked like a repeat of most of last season.

And the first half?
Not even remotely.
Well...IMO, Gus works his entire contract here and is then thoroughly evaluated. It remains to be seen if he can actually manage a game- clock, adjustments, etc- competently, let alone a pressure packed playoff game.

On the positive side, he appears to be a good coach and a solid motivator as hid players seem to love playing for him. All that's good but the jury is still out on his game management skills and will be for a while.

As far as the OP's original question, I'd say not even remotely yet.

With this roster?  Maybe year 4 would be trouble.  Why the rush to judgment?

Not saying Bradley would be on the hot seat, but this roster is actually pretty decent, minus Chad Henne.
Simple answer: NO!
No way.. Now if they wait to start Bortles next year Bradley won't get a free pass next year if we start out 0-2, so thats why you play him now.

no.....

I don't think so.  Gus has this year.

No hot seat. But an 0-5 start is not out of the question. I'm all for getting better but it needs to start resulting in some W's.
His seat will not be able to get warm until next year.

Nope.
