Quote:Marcedes could be the key to the game. He is our experience at receiver on the field. If Marcedes can get open early a few times it could open things up for everybody. Lewis takes a ton of heat on this board - but if he has a huge game we could hang in there today. He will have to play blocker a lot today for sure, but I think he will be a passing target early to get the game rolling.
I share the same sentiments. I just believe that the Eagles may game plan against him, knowing that he is our only proven target for our passing offense. The key will be if our rookie WRs can separate from the 1-on-1 coverage that they will face - because we all know the Eagles D will stack the box and dare our WRs to beat them.
Quote:I'm just hoping the Jags keep 'em under 50.
50 is the most points any Jaguars team has ever given up.
In 1998, Minnesota beat a Johnathan Quinn led Jags team 50-10.
Eagle fan trolling a Jaguar message board. This is your Christmas.
What radio station carries the Jaguars pre-game talk? In the past it was always WOKV.
I'm nervous. With the o-line problems and the injuries and suspensions at WR I feel like this could be a blowout. Hope the Jags prove me wrong though!

The OL yes, the WR's will be fine, its just will the QB throw it to them, no blowout the defense is good, this is a Gus Bradley team

I agree with this. Despite the fact that alot of members in the Jungle are down on Marcedes, he looked really good after Henne took over. I'm hoping he's a big part of the passing game this week.

This is a legit concern. But Lewis has the size and experience to get open. It really comes down to how well Henne plays today. I think we're all hoping for him to just be smart and not turn the ball over too much.

I hope you're right about the D!
Good luck, Jaguars. I will be watching your game today, so I hope your team can stay competitive as long as possible.

Can we borrow Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, Harvin, Beastmode, and your entire O-line for this game please?
I kid, I kid. I don't think the game will be THAT bad, I just want it to be competitive.
